Great staff. Generous portions. Very traditional Kurdish breakfast. Unlimited Turkish tea.
I graduated from gastronomy and culinary arts also studied about nations cuisine. There are a lot of problems about origin of the foods. As a result i can say this; that restaurant is promote themselves as Kurdish cuisine and i respect that if they can put some REAL information about this(articles, researchers).Otherwise they are selling Turkish culture as Kurdish culture and this is a BIG DEAL in gastronomy world.
Having had many Kurdish breakfasts in Kurdistan, I consider myself to have high standards. This place easily met and exceeded those expectations! The food was amazing! I loved all the cheeses, jams/spreads, and egg scramble that came with the breakfast. Kurdish tea served in my favorite Kurdish tea cups just made the experience even more perfect. Highly recommend!
I am really disappointed that they are advertising as Kurdish cuisine. It is ACTUAL and REAL TURKISH CUSINE. If you want to try Turkish food, go to a real one not to imitations
must have sac tawa, ezme and walnuts, spinach and pine nuts.... Octopus! Mediterranean dishes you will recognize and love, plus some I've never had. exceptional food, very nice people.
We ordered take out tonight and the food was amazing as always! Our favorites - Beef & Veggie Sac Tawa and Jumbo shrimp for dinner. Brunch - chicken wrap. If you’re dining in try their homemade hummus you won’t be disappointed!
Definitely recommend. One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Chicago!
Unforgettable and the perfect way to AWE your out of town guests with the stunning presentation and flavor of the Kurdish breakfast. Service is always incredible.
We have been here for breakfast and dinner. One word: AMAZING!. Its interior design gives a simply authentic atmosphere. I love the ethnic paintings on the wall and their Turkish coffee cups. If you would like to eat an original breakfast from Mesopotamia land, you would be thankful to my review. Strongly recommend for delicious Kurdish food and remarkable Kurdish hospitality.
Had just the most wonderful brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and when they heard the occasion our waiter bought out the most delicious tea cookies! The Kurdish breakfast for two with soujouk is my favorite brunch of all time. I’ve come here for it so often, and it never disappoints.
