Place is nice on the inside, with a beautiful bar. We went to have a beer after a street fest and the place was empty it is very unassuming from the outside, they need to.make the entrance more welcoming. I think I would open the whole.fromt up so you could just walk right and make it feel less dark.
The is a great place to visit. The food is very good. Both the staff and the guest are warm and friendly. The Irish music session on Sunday is amazing, This is a great place for a pub meal before a concert at the nearby Old Town School of Folk Music and a great place to have a drink after a concert.
Good Irish Bar near Lincoln Square area. Went here during the St. Patrick’s day week and it was very happening. ☘️They have lots of tables so you won’t have to wait for long to find a table. Good service and ambiance it great. Musical instruments everywhere and music being played in the background. We had Irish whiskeys, fish and chips, wings and a couple of cocktails.Overall a good experience.
The food is excellent; incredible fries, in particular. Friendly staff and a very cozy area in the back that suits dates very well. The live music was a pleasant surprise.
I’ve been waiting a while for the food menu to come back. It was drinks-only for a while during the pandemic. So I was pleased to see the kitchen was open on my last visit. For drinks, they have a couple of the usual Irish selections, like Guinness and Magners. They pour the former correctly, so it comes out with a nice head. However, that’s basically where the UK beers stop. The rest is American craft beers, many of them local. I feel like I can get those at any bar or restaurant in the area; I go to Irish pubs for beers from the Kingdom. It would be great to see a better selection of those. As for the food, there are a few Irish-inspired dishes, but mostly not. Mostly the app has American apps, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Nevertheless, a few things looked good to me. I was having trouble deciding between the curds, spice bag, and burger. I ended up with the burger and it was really solid. The fries in particular were delicious. They tasted like they may have been fried in beef fat and were salty and crispy.Overall, I prefer the burger at Warbler across the street, but this could be a regular drinking place of mine if it got a better selection of UK beers.
This place has a very specific vibe. It’s a very pretty venue and the waiter was clearly new to the job and super cute. He was so nervous and funny - the best part about my visit. The food is standard. Nothing too special about this place.
Excellent libations and pub grub on a Sunday evening along with a traditional Irish music session at the front of the bar.
What a gem! The chicken club and mashed potatoes were out of this world. Also make sure to grab some curry fries while you’re there. Everything was amazing and the bartender was very friendly and funny. I highly recommend going here.
This place has turned a new leaf! Since the new management they have legit gourmet food. Amazing for vegetarians! Their impossible burger is the best in the city - I hear people send it back thinking it’s meat! The veggie spice bag is hearty, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. All of their cocktails are top notch too. This is my go to pub.
Great food and attentive server. Just wish we had received our appetizer before our entrées, but otherwise everything was great even though we got it all at once. Be sure to check their website for the current menu because the menu in their Google listing is not current.
