The service was okay. None of the food came out together. Some of the people at our table got their food and some had to wait an hour. They ran out of the vegan po boy after our order was placed. Then I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was soggy and just not good at all. The sun dried tomatoes is not a good pair with the shrimp and bread smelled like sour dough but wasn’t. I will never go back. My friend ordered the chicken wings and the inside was still raw.
Was looking for another Black-owned restaurant to try and came across this hidden gem. When I think about, I have passed this place by several times not realizing its a restaurant that I needed to try. So, tonight I tried The Delta for the 1st time with some friends and I was thoroughly impressed. From the time we were greeted at the door until we left, service was impeccable and food was excellent. Sometimes it’s hard to find a restaurant that has both good food & drinks and then topped off with great service. My friends and I ordered food like we were having a Thanksgiving feast. Everything we ordered was great including the desert (bread pudding) except for the mac n cheese w/crab. Our waiter David was excellent and the entire staff was so attentive. Also, the Delta Bouquet drink which is served in a vase is a MUST. Please note that it’s a shareable drink.
I enjoyed the vibe. Jordan (our waiter) was amazing! The food was good. Bottomless mimosas could have used a better juice selection but overall it was a nice experience.
I'm with my friends when I came here. We decided to sit outside instead of inside because it was chilling inside and refreshing. We want to enjoy the atmosphere outside and the cold breeze. A waiter came to our table. He greeted us and gave us the menu. He waited for us until we chose our order and he listed it on a small paper. Before he leaves I ask him for a bottle of water because I'm too thirsty. He gave me a pitcher of water and 4 glasses since we are all four. I thanked him and he left. My friend also drinks and it's good that it was cold. After a couple of minutes our order came. All of it looks delicious. And when I tasted it, it was so good. I tasted every dish we ordered and I liked it. My friends are also enjoying the food that we have. We are so happy that we came here. We will be back here again.
Absolutely do not go here! Sunday Brunch not good. I gave it 2 stars because of the atmosphere, and thats where it stops. Sundays brunch menu is very limited. We are seated at 2:50 pm. Asked if could get the bottomless mimosas which started at 3 pm. No sir not until 3pm. So no you can't get it 10 minutes early. My sister can't do spicy and everything is spicy, even though our waiter says it's not really spicy. Sister doesn't eat, brother mad. Got there breakfast burger "where's the beef?" smaller than McDonald's cheese burger. 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 French toast, a burger and 1 bottomless mimosas $190 food just average. Never again!
I was excited to pick up food. I walked in to place a to go order and it took them 30 min to acknowledge me. I asked around who I could order a to go order from & they had no idea who was in charge of that.Such a mess… I then asked the waiter in braids and she proceeded to blatantly ignore me. I asked if I could place a quick order of one tamale and hush puppies. She said to wait (even after 30 minutes of me standing in the middle of the restaurant there was no where to sit).I then witnessed her proceed to start taking an order from a table of 20 people of her race, shocked to see this as I was one person placing a to go order and was not dinning in.Horrible customer service. I’m also Hispanic and it was ethnic (African American) dominated I felt they pushed me to the side making sure they first took care of their people instead of just people as a whole. I felt it was a racist environment and I wouldn’t recommend it. Bad experience, disorganized and hostile.
The service is great and the overall presentation very nice. My problem was the 45 minute wait for the food and then catfish hash I order was all hash. I seriously was looking through my food to find some catfish. My over meal I was not impressed and sorry to say the hush puppies where the highlight of my meal.. The naked and famous drink is good but mostly sugar.. I repeat the service I received was excellent and love the presentation. The food was good but not worth the money spent..

Always a vibe. Music is always amazing.
I've been coming here for a few years and I love the ambience, drinks, people and the music. Today was the 1st time I tried their brunch. I had the catfish hash with a side of pancakes and bottomless mimosas. The catfish hash was great! I was so full I barely touched my pancakes but they were good too. Service was decent but as time progressed it took a while for refills on the mimosas, however it was during happy hour so that could've been a factor. All around I enjoyed as always and of course will be back.
