A kool setting upstairs in the library. Perfect to sit around to chat and have a few cocktails. Great service and drinks.

We visited The Library at The Darling on the first floor. Good cocktails, wonderful service, beautiful ambience! We were there on an evening when there were periodic short performances as well, and they were enjoyable.I really liked that they supported online ordering as well. One does not need to wait for a waiter in order to place an order. The online order is then brought to one's table.

Beautiful place. Good drinks and food. But: We was on the Ballroom and had table 19. Table? That was a bar, with so small space to put the dishes and glasses. So uncomfortable(( and we waited for all orders so long. For the gnocchi we had to spoons different sizes)))

The ambience is night. We made reservations for 8:30 pm and placed an order for drinks but it came after 45 mins as they had issues with the system. There was a live performance as well which was ?. Very less veg food options. Mushroom fries and cauliflower was good. The gnocchi wasn’t good at all. The drinks were okay. Overall a good place.

Came here for pre-dinner cocktails on a Sunday night and was thoroughly impressed. Cute decor, kind of a regal, old-fashioned feel. the staff was very kind, and the host told us exactly how the ordering was done in order to avoid too much contact between servers. The cocktails were delicious. $15 each, which is pretty reasonable for the area and one of them even had a picture of a fox printed on rice paper floating in it!! It was very cute. Will return.

The service was traumatizing full stop. My reservation was for 7. I got in early at 620 expecting the offer to sit at a bar or whatever to wait for my party. They sat me down and started the two hours from that point. At 820 we were told to leave within 10 minutes because we overstayed the reservation. We asked to finish a wine. Within minutes another waiter comes over demanding we leave immediately. That's on top of the waiter with condescending attitude that didn't come to take an order till 7 anyway. Check out other review sites to confirm. Doesn't matter how cute the place is when you're treated badly and embarrassed.

saturday night in the 1st floor at The darling was a great time, the place is really nice, romantic atmosphere, great coktails and food.second floor is more crowded with sofa and central bar, 2 different ambiance depending on what you want

Love this place!!! Staff is very friendly. Drinks are good; my favorite is the secret garden. The library is a cute gem with a huge scrabble board, tons of books, little shows/acts, fireplace, and an intimate atmosphere.

Wouldn't come back here again. At the restaurant they messed up getting the right transaction amount a couple times and had to keep charging my card. Then a few hours later just before midnight when Im about to sleep they call my personal phone because apparently they messed up AGAIN and needed me to give them my credit card information...for JUST 7 dollars.Utterly embarrassing and unprofessional. Not sure if everything just happened to go wrong but the whole experience wasn't that great either. You go sit at a table and you order from your phones so barely any service, interaction or banter with bartenders (in the ballroom). Then 2 drinks took 40+ minutes to come out lol.tl;dr don't come here. it's not worth the headache if they mess up (which they did a lot during my first and only visit)
