??Delicious, decently priced, seafood platter and a pleasant friendly service makes the The Crab Pad in Logan Square a must try for seafood lovers. The interiors and music add to the experience. Overall, had a great time.
The Crab Pad offers seafood shaken, cooked and served in a bag. What's not to like? There are a lot of menu options for what you'd like in your bag of seafood including head on or off shrimp, snow crab legs, and lobster tails as well as options on sauce, heat level and sides. You're invited to make a mess and can even eat off of the paper lined tables. I believe the ice cream bars are handmade with a selection of flavors and toppings. There is a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available. They bring you markers and invite you to sign your name or leave a message on the walls and benches. Shout out to Emmecio, our server, who was very friendly and helpful. Paid street parking is available.
Staff is amazing! Made a great impression, and had some delicious food. So flavorful, and the hush puppies were perfect. Will definatly be coming back!
The Crab Pad was excellent. These service was top notch. There was a delay with the food, but the service and quality were well worth it! They were very honest and accommodating. I brought my friend with me, it was her first time and she fell in love. Oh, don't forget to try the homemade ice cream.
Not worth the price! Ordered the pick two along with add ons and the portions were too small. Either their scale is wrong or their online ordering is deceptive.Ordered the 1/2 lb snow crab and 1/2 headless shrimp for the pick two. But ADDED 1lb headless shrimp and 1lb snow crab legs and two orders of sausage which said 3 in each order (literally just got 2 pieces). Embarrassed to say how much I spent on this. But lesson learned.
Literally the WORST crab boil I’ve been to. We ordered the pick 2 (I had supposedly 1lb snow crab legs and 1lb shrimp but it was more like 1/4 lb). The portions were SO incredibly small (like doll size small), the sauce wasn’t even flavorful, the food was so dry and barely any sauce, don’t serve liquor, charge extra for gloves, poor service, and the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!
Such a fun experience. The waitstaff was so kind. Loved the seafood bag! Also, the popsicles were so delicious. Chai + milk chocolate + vanilla wafers + Oreos
So delicious and worth the money.. Crab and shrimp was so good . Easy to crack.. Cooked well.. Flavorful(a little salty) but that's fine with me. Definitely know where I'm going every holiday! Yummm! You know good quality when you taste it.
Asia ? the hostess was absolutely fantastic. She payed attention to detail and added to the pleasantry of the environment.
