Went on a Tuesday night, I have had better experience somewhere else on a week day. $20 fee is not worth it, though no minimum spend but of course you not gonna watch comedy show without at least drinking-Especially if you know with the same money you can better spend else where. The comics were not funny. Good things, staffs are friendly and food were delicious. Everything but the comedy. I am not sure if I want to come back even on a weekend. Vibe was abit off when I was there. I’ll leave you guys your own judgement if y’all wanna try.

Cosy upstairs venue, great lineup, had an excellent time. Booked a later slot, less crowded, more intimate, a bit looser, lots of fun.

What a fun evening! Right off Michigan Ave. On the 3rd floor of Gino's East. It's a great intimate venue. Probably can hold 75 seated or 150 standing. I went on Tomato throw Thursday so 10 comedians have 5 min. Sets and the audience is given squishy foam tomatoes to throw at them if they don't like the jokes. I had a hard time throwing tomato s because I was really enjoying the comics but it added a really fun element to the evening. Especially for the less experienced comics, because they could play off the tomato lobs and try to catch them. Probably the best sound of any comedy club I've ever been to. Super friendly staff. My Moscow Mules we're great and they offer the whole Gino's menu for food which is my favorite pizza in Chicago. Highly Recommend!!!

The Comedy Bar was a fun experience! I would definatly recommend it for a fun night out for food and entertainment. The food was very impressive. I highly recommend you get the mozzarella sticks! They were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The walk up the stairs to the entertainment space has a cool vibe as well.

Amazing customer service and even better comedy! Would give 10 Stars if I could! The service was great and they make you feel welcomed once you walk in the door. There was a loud talkative intoxicated couple that was interacting with the comics and disrupting the show, but an employee stepped in and asked them to quiet down. They shortly left after. Which was for the best because that was one of the best comedy shows I have seen in Chicago! Absolutely love The Comedy Bar! If you go to a comedy show you need to listen and not interrupt the comics while they are performing. I loved seeing that the staff cares about all the customers and doesn’t let a couple of bad eggs ruin the show!! It makes for a great night out in Chicago! recommend 10 out of 10

During a quick city visit, we saw the Tuesday tomato throw show on a whim. A clever concept that is a blast. I think we saw a dozen good to great Chicago comics in a pleasant venue with outstanding staff. Hugely enjoyable evening including appetizers and drinks from Gino's.

I enjoyed a great 8pm show and got the laughs needed to relax. Side note...the cheese sticks were insanely good. The ladies at my table grabbed a pizza. It looked damn good and should have tried it.

Always a bunch of laughs, the team there is friendly and fast, and it's convenient you can order from Gino's or upstairs menus... Full bar, lots of laughs, it was a great night. You can sit towards the back if you don't want attention but it's a smaller size which leads to a better overall experience!

The food is from the menu of Gino's East, so it was surprisingly very good. I would recommend you get there early and order food/drinks before the show starts, because it's hard to get a hold of the servers once the comedians start talking and the lights are dimmed. Overall my group and I enjoyed the visit and the comedians, and would come back again!

Small audience but had some good laughs
