Outrageously overpriced and the sides are absolutely disgusting. Do not waste your time and money!!
Great food. Great service. Pricey! If you're willing to spend $50 on a couple chicken sandwiches, a couple drinks and a side of slaw it's really good.
Over priced chicken sandwich. The banana pudding is like soup. The fries were a disappointment. Never Again!
Chicken sandwich was really good. Chicken tenders were dry and not juicy as if they were refried. Mac and cheese was ok. Fries were good. Can’t give it a better review because bathrooms not working, prices are super high. They should look into lowering prices. No need to charge 20 dollars for a chicken tender meal with no drink

Update: moving review up to 4 stars bc had a better experience the second time.Food is very good. Chx sandwich was very good and not overly thick breading, thin and crispy. Biscuit was top notch... though $5 for one biscuit is steep af!!! Way too much money for one biscuit!!! To build a sandwich and two sides you are looking at 30+ before tip. Need a meal option. A better worded description of heat levels would be nice. I thought the "classic" was hot enough but my boyfriend thought the next level up at "hot" was the perfect kick. I couldn't imagine how anything above "hot" is enjoyable to anyone.The online ordering feature is annoying. My 10% off code never worked (SPICY10). Big waste of time. Later, after I already ordered, I received an email w/ a different code. In order to simply make an order online you need to make an acct and set a password that is 8 characters long with a capital letter, lower case letter, a number and a symbol makes me want to diiiiiieeeeee. Noone wants to do this! Make it easier to order food!!A lot of time-wasting with the website but the chicken sandiwch received was worth a trip back!
The recommendation was a mis-type!! Just left the Hyde Pk location and am severely disappointed. Macaroni was good, but the sandwich was not fresh, and lukewarm at best. No other customers were in there, and now I see why. The Chi Hot joint on 87th is much, much better, and cheaper. The banana pudding was good.I DO NOT recommend eating here.
Solid hot chicken sando! Soft brioche bread, sweet pickles, crispy chicken, and ample heat even on the classic. Plus, they play all the old soul jams. Big thumbs up!
How is this place still open??? This chicken is NOT good (just order from Gus' if you want decent spicy fried chicken). They had no quarter dark, no half dark- ok then, wings. 5 wings for $16 (I mean $17 as the posted prices don't reflect a recent price hike) not including sides. The sides are the smallest I've ever seen. Also, the chicken is NOT tasty. Seems like someone just put ALOT of pepper in some flour and fried some chicken. Expensive, bland, poor service….I’m not sure this place will last unless some meaningful changes are made.
