Not bad - the food is good, and while it is a bit pricey for a counter-serve place, my food was a good portion size. I got the chicken tenders ($12); it came with around 5 thick tenders, a slice of bread (the bread wasn't my favorite - a bit tough near the edges) and a few pickles with their house sauce. So plenty for dinner, even without fries or a side, for a young hungry guy. The classic heat is actually spicy, and the chicken comes out piping hot, so you'll probably want a glass of water. Outdoor seating is a nice feature, though it is a crowded street, and the indoor ambiance is nice enough, though it seemed empty for a Saturday night. My food was ready in around 10 minutes, so overall a good place for a quick bite that's cheaper than the more upscale sit-down restaurants elsewhere on Armitage and Halsted.

Smaller place but we got a table no problem at 130pm. Street meter parking. The guy at the counter was great. Engagement and helpful. We both ordered the chicken sandwich, split fries and lemonade. It came pretty fast to the table. They looked amazing, huge chicken. Only problem is neither of us really liked the flavor. I think just too much going on. The pickle was unique maybe a homemade bread n butter recipe. The slaw was a bit loose. Almost like a bad oil flavor on the chicken. Trust me I wanted to love this in a bad way as the presentation is impressive. We did not complain. Lastly it is on the high side of price. It was about $23 plus after tax n tip per person.

I got the Hot Chicken sandwich with everything on it. It was delicious but not as juicy as other reviewers are saying. The Mac&Cheese was amazing. It had a nice little kick to it. The fries were cut thick. Definitely getting what you pay for.

I really wanted to love this place, but at the price I just can’t justify it. They price themselves as the best fried chicken sandwich in Chicago, and I think they’re close. But I’d still say it wasn’t perfect. The chicken itself was very crispy and quite juicy, but I’d really like to see a sweeter coleslaw to balance out the heat, I think it’d go a long way. The mac and cheese was okay but again not worth the price tag.

Look at that juicy chicken, it was definitely on the bigger side of fried chicken sandwiches, that's for sure. I wish there was more sauce on the sandwich, or a sauce on the side.Their sides are on the pricier side, but they're still pretty tasty regardless.

Very friendly staff. The food was so fresh and had the perfect amount of sauce. The chicken was very juicy and crispy. Nicely clean on the inside too which is always a plus! We got the hot chicken sandwich and the hot chicken strips. However, the macaroni was terrible. I'll def go again!

The hot chicken sandwich from this place is definitely great. I am not a regular customer of them but I always make it appoint to visit them each time whenever I had a chance or even whenever I am free just to get their hot chicken sandwich. Their hot chicken sandwich is very reasonable and the portion of the chicken is so huge that it is bigger than the bun. The last time I was in here was a week ago and I just had their hot chicken sandwich of course, and the mac and cheese. I am not gonna lie, their mac and cheese is a little bit bland and it really needs more seasoning to it but their hot chicken sandwich is really the best that is so crispy, so huge, tender, a bit juicy and definitely delicious. The place is also clean and cozy, staffs are very nice and the service is quick

I would expect a place with this level of recognition to have good customer service, guess not. Whoever the cashier was tonight obviously didn’t want to be there. Simple questions about the menu, couldn’t be answered without a condescending tone. Food was eh, and for $70 was not worth it. After tonight’s service will definitely never be back.

When I came here there were few customers inside so I expected that my food would come quickly. I ordered Hot Chicken Sandwich and Quarter dark chicken. I waited for about 20 minutes before my order came. It's so slow and I'm starving already. I thought they would serve it fast. Hot Chicken Sandwich has breast chicken that is brined, battered and fried and served with comeback sauce, budlong pickles and farmslaw. It was spicy since it was hot. If you like spicy food then try this Hot Chicken Sandwich. I'm sure you will like its taste and its spiciness. The meat was juicy and it's so yummy. Quarter dark chicken has classic sauces, pickles on top of chicken and the base is the Texas toast. It's juicy and so good to eat. I remove pickles since I don't eat them. Even though their service was slow their food was good.

I had been seeing the Facebook advertisement. I wanted to check them out. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. It wasn't what I expected. The chicken was kind of thick and it has a fleshy taste, not sure if it was fully cooked but my taste buds didn't agree. The sandwich by itself was $14.49 that was taxes and a service fee. I personally didn't like it. Too expensive.
