Cute classic bar inside and out. Great summer spot with the ivy outside and the quiet pocket of west town X Humboldt. Pool table @ a buck and touchtunes ready. Green glass tube lighting- can't be beat. The prices are high and the volumes deceptively low. They have a huge co2 issue with all draft beers that causes an estimated 20-25% volume loss of each keg. Beers are very heady, which would be ok if the price was more reflective of the area and volume.Bottom line: bar food that satisfies a wide range of palates, beers that meet most desires, interactive environment that makes for a fun user experience, large enough to accomodate most groups large or small, exceptional outdoor lighting and atmosphere in the warm season, con-like glassware and amateur pours that push the wallet capacity.

Chill atmosphere, good food, nice beer selection. Came here with 2 kids, 1 of which had a peanut allergy, and had no issues.
It's been about 8 years since I've been to the Beetle. I went with a friend who lives around the corner and it was her first time. We got some pretzels that were really tasty. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great time.
The Fennel Apple Salad is back! Best salad in the city.Their staff is legit and will take great care of you if you aren’t terrible to them.Waffle fries are also delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything.
Been in the neighborhood as long as they’ve been around. I basically come for the cheese curds and The Last Words. Both are fantastic. Yum.
You want a burger that has topping combinations that you know were put together by a chef. This is not your lettuce and tomato let's just stop there kind of burger. You want beer. Craft beer. Regular lagers. IPAs. The Beetle has you covered. Get lucky and get the booth by the fireplace. You'll stay there for hours.
Wonderful lively feeling. Music was awesome, the food was absolutely terrific (try the fish tacos) and the service was top notch.
Looks like nice to visit but read this first !Me and my friend were waiting for burgers more than 50 mins in Saturday midday. Burgers didnt live up to expectations and didn’t get sauce I ordered. Highly recommend you to choose another place to have a lunch.
Staff is always very nice. The food that I have tried it's pretty good. I would give them one more star if they had more items on their menu. For the most part it's a cool local spot to have a drink
