I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant in the city. After a planned day at the museums, my friends and I had to find an open restaurant during the week. This was one of the few we found, and definitely a great choice. The decor was very modern. Staff were all pleasant with phenomenal service. We always had drinks available, and we were not rushed at all. I had the chicken tortilla soup and their Cesar salad (with added shrimp). The soup was a nice take and tasted amazing, and the salad was fresh and crisp with great croutons! Our night ended with a skillet cookie, which again was nothing short of amazing! Highly recommend if you are in the city
This place has the best nachos I have ever tasted. Period. That cheese is just something else. Even without the meat (you can add it if you want) the portion was big enough for both me and my wife that made us feel almost full before the main dish came in, which was also very tasty and freshly cooked. Decor is nice and classy with very friendly staff. Overall it's a great place for either quick lunch or evening dinner.
An oasis of calm in a criminal district. I found this place by avoiding a potential robber who crept up behind me while I was being too much of a tourist. Good value turkey club. Healthy and fresh. Stand off ish employees who are starved for a good conversation in the cold financial world. Decent prices and good atmosphere! The servers may look you up and down on entering, but that's because the district is heavy on crime.
Athmosphere is fine and relaxing. Had the chance to try many appetizers and I liked the idea of having a French experience. Appreciated the selection on the menu, but most of the plates we had were too salty: the onion soup (which is one pf the specialties) and the lobster bisque. Calamari rings were fine, overall a bit pricy for the general level of the food. Service was good.
Really great food, great ambiance and a convenient location right by the Board of Trade. I attended a private event, so we had a broad menu of small plates. Taureaux is known for their French fries, which were absolutely delicious. These should be an entree! The burger was also fantastic as was the Caesar salad. Wait staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and decor. Highly recommend - will be back soon!
Customer service was good. The pricing was fair. I did not order any drinks, so I can't speak to the drinks. I ordered one appetizer and entree. Appetizer was delicious. Entree was not cooked to my liking. The restaurant accommodated me for that. Overall, I recommend and will go back.

This review is only for a Corporate Happy Hour event. If you want to have an event here Sammy will help you. She was amazing and really helped us turn around an event only a couple days in advance for a client happy hour that included food an open bar.
Great place for a speedy business lunch.I did not look at the menu, I simply ordered the burger medium rare, I was happy with the decision. The mark of a great restaurant, in my opinion. They prepared the fries as requested.
I love this tavern- I live locally and it’s the perfect spot to come in for a warm french onion soup and a nice glass of wine. I always sit at the bar, and the bartenders are so great. However… more than half the time I come in, I’m turned away because the kitchen closed at 5 PM, they’re short staffed, or closed for a private party (I try going at least once a week). There are never signs on the door or any heads up, so most of the time when I’m excited to go there, I’m let down, which is super disappointing. I love it here, but wish the hours and openings were better (especially when it says open until 8:30 on their website). If you want to come here, I’d definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure they’re serving food before you head over. I’d eat here 3 times a week if they let me!
