This place seems to be extremely popular, but we didn't have to wait too long for a table on a Sunday afternoon. Fair warning, they only take cash, but there's an ATM inside. I only explored tacos: Carne asada was super juicy and you could tell it was a quality cut of strak. Al Pastor had a great spice and flavor. Barbacoa was very boring and one-dimensional. Huevo was pretty good and exactly what you'd expect. They load you up on meats, so that justifies their prices being a little higher than the average street taco. The pickled carrot garnish plate was also an unexpected star; I could eat those by themselves all day. If I find myself here again, I'll definitely explore more of the menu and probably stick to the asada and al pastor. Very friendly and positive folks are running the show here!

The tortas de lengua are sometimes hit or miss. They used to be consistently good but tonight I had the worst one and don't think I'll order one again. There was too much fat and I think they changed their bread, it just felt way off from what kept me going back. I was so disappointed I couldn't finish it. The customer service is good though and so are the tacos de pastor.

Wonderful staff. And amazing food. You can't really go wrong with any of the menu options. They are all fresh and top notch. Although a bit expensive it is worth it for the prompt and professional service and melt in your mouth food. 10/10

I'm new to Chicago and these tacos don't compare to LA tacos. The service is great but the food definitely doesn't live up to the hype. I'm not sure why people consider these bomb tacos lol. They are also pretty pricey. $4 for a taco is too much. I definitely wouldn't come here again. I give it two stars only because the service was good.

Authentic Mexican taqueria, serving up tacos and tortas. Fast excellent friendly service. Great orchata ? too. But take cash no credit accepted

Have been coming here for many years. I come here mainly for their tacos de al pastor. They are known for being on a pricey side $$$ but their servings and quality was always great. Few weeks ago a coworker talked about how they raised their prices but started not giving the same portion and sauce for their al pastor tacos. I went ahead and visited again and sure enough prices are higher and the al pastor tacos are lacking their special sauce and portion. I will definitely spread the word and try new taquerias around. I don’t mind paying the price for a good well served taco. Their agua de horchata is still delicious! Customer service could be better.

Pricey, but its probably because of Chicago mayor high permit prices. Decent taste and well served as of meat on the taco and the salsas were good in taste too, authentic Mexican. And also fast served!

Everyone was amazing. The owner was super friendly. I recommend it to anyone who lives authentic Mexican food. If you never have try them. So worth it. You won't eat anywhere else!!!

Service it was horrible. Food is okay. Tacos a little dry. The only good thing to eat tacos al pastor. They don’t do split checks, and the prices on the tacos is very high $4 & $4.50 each with no flavor.
