Very fast service. The staff is always making sure you are ok. The cooks need to be a little more attentive, although they messed up my food 2 times (same item, same day), I am very happy with El Pastor restaurant
The salsa had no flavor, we sent back and go the same thing. The chips were stale and my mom got sick on their menudo. I just feel businesses are cutting corners and raising prices and the food is becoming weak. In when i first started coming in it was all great lately not so great.
2 stars because the waiters were super nice. Unfortunately when I got home to taste the Pastor and Asada tacos I was surprised that it had no seasoning taste at all. I was like let me add lots of lime and salsa and wow. Salsa as well had no flavor at all. Definitely not going back at all.
My husband knows this place from a long time ago, he loves the sauce they serve there, I ordered a Chicken Tostada but I didn't like the avocado on it at all because it was a little brown ? good attention, fast serving, decent bathrooms (Please change that toilet paper!!)

The best Al Pastor tacos in Chicago. I used to live in that neighborhood about 12 years ago and they have never changed the recipe. Now, I live 75 miles away but if I'm near by, this is where I go for tacos.

Taqueria El Pastor definitely has the best tacos de al pastor. Highly, recommend when in the Midway area. Enjoy!
The food here is great but the customer service is horrible. Twice now the waitress messes up my order and then doesn’t even bring us our drinks, worst part is they wanted to charge us for the drinks and when I told them they didn’t even bring them to us they didn’t even have the decency to apologize. The food isn’t being gifted it’s being paid for. It’s a shame I actually liked the place but it’s probably the last time I eat there.
Best tacos in Chicago by far, it's one of the few taquerias in the Southside that hasn't dropped in quality or raised their prices too much. Their pastor tacos are the best in the southside
