Very good tea shop. I fell in love with it and the drinks! Staff is very kind and helpful as well. They have a wide variety of teas, milk teas and smoothies. The price is very good for the quality of the drinks that you are getting. I will keep visiting! I got the blueberry tea with taro boba and the taro lovers smoothie with flan!
I really enjoyed the drinks here! It was really hard to find parking but that isn’t a problem for me. The vibe of the store was really nice and they were playing good music. There are a wide variety of drink options and they even have extra large cups for certain drinks. Overall great experience and I will be coming back when I visit Illinois again!
If I could put 0 stars I would. I’ve come here plenty of times and even worked next door of this establishment to always get a smoothie on my lunch break. But yesterday I had the worse experience ever. First off I DID NOT enjoy my drinks at all. I handed off my drinks to the person I was with and once we got to our destination she grabbed the drinks from the handles of the bag. Mind you! If you put something in a bag, you typically grab it from the handles of the bag!! So at that moment, the bags knot got undone and all four drinks dropped to the ground and ALL BROKE! I was obviously sad when it happened and called the place afterwards. Person on the phone said yes we can replace the drinks for new ones and asked for my order. I live kinda far from Tao Tea, but since I didn’t get to enjoy my drink I went back. Then another coworker called me back and said they couldn’t replace them. I was so furious! I stayed on the phone going back and forth for almost 30minutes!! They said it was a new person working there and that he wasn’t done being trained. Telling me it was my fault that I broke my drinks! And the girl insisted to tell me that, we tell all our customers to be careful when we hand off their drinks. WRONG! You guys tied the knot not me! I do not understand what type of person this owner is but the fact that he/she couldn’t try to replace any of my drinks or do something!! They just simply said no! And the fact that the worker there tells me, “this is the first time, this has happened” like okay exactly!! Where’s the customer satisfaction at?? I was utterly disappointed in the owner! And in the worker! But when I suggested I will just cancel my purchase thru my bank! All the worker wanted to keep saying is, well I suggest you do! Like I can’t understand why own an establishment if you can’t hire people with good customer services!
One of my favourite places to go. I love their Durian smoothie and it's my usual when I'm in the city.I love that they're so inclusive to the Viet speaking people too and have a kind staff as well. It makes me feel better when my english feels mentally challenged haha
Great unique flavors of Boba! A large selection of various classic combinations, new and innovative flavors, as well as what flavors are trendy. Looking forward to going back and trying their dessert flavors.I had a Taro Iced Boba w/ Coconut Milk 10 out of 10!Very cute decorations and easy menu!
Got the lychee w/ aloe bits and strawberry popping bubbles. Tasted oddly orangey but otherwise really good, not too sweet.
Love the flan brown sugar boba. Workers super nice first time I went girl was super nice when I asked for recommendations! Has to be one of my favorite boba shops! Coconut banana smoothie amazing too!

Really good drinks, but one of the girl was very rude on phone when I asked if I can place order. She was even rude in person when I said I want a large and corrected me in rude tone.Like I totally understand since there is only size, but work on the communication skill.
they have a huge menu here, so it's impossible to make a very accurate judgment. however I got the milk tea, which tasted Fair, but it was very big and somewhat tasteless. it felt watered down but it could be worth giving this place another try
