Lovely place to eat! Went for a birthday celebration and the waitstaff was excellent and the food was amazing! Prices were affordable and itâs in a great area. If youâre looking for delicious food definitely check this place out

Butter chicken and lamb biryani were amazing! Butter chicken portion was small for the price.
Eric, our server, was outstanding. His advice about portions should be heeded! They offer large portions. My daughter ordered the Pasta Tika Masala which she was only able to eat about 1/4 of since we ordered Beef Samosa as an appetizer and a mixed Naan platter. All were delicious. I ordered the Butter Chicken which was also top notch! It was quick service and while the desserts looked super good, we will have to come back on our next trip to Chicago to provide a review of those! (Too full after a great meal). The menu has traditional fare done well and fusion options which were interesting and creative. Well Done Tandoor Char House and thanks to Eric for a great experience! We will be back if our daughter chooses Chicago for college!

Our server Rahjon was next level. Wonderful guy. He even remembered me from previous visits. Sadly, vindaloo was missing from the menu, but everything we ordered was wonderful. It was the 1st time my son’s girlfriend ever had Indian food, and she loved it.
Mother’s Day our table of 6 was waiting for us when we arrived. Food and service was amazing as always !
I don't understand the 5 star reviews for this restaurant. Taste, ambiance and service - three most important qualities of any restaurant. Tandoor char house has average tasting food, poor ambiance, slow service, but friendly staff. For the price, this may be a good takeout / delivery restaurant. But not enough to bring me back or recommend the restaurant as a go-to.
The food and service was fantastic, we will definitely be back!
