This is a really good place for tamales, they are pretty good sizes for the price. On weekends you will find, chicharron en salsa verde, and refried beans tamales.I love sweet tamales, as a super big fan I always looking for the best they have so far 1st place with the strawberry tamales they are simple the best, in Chicagoland.Try, Rajas con queso, rojos de puerco, verdes the spicy version. Careful sometimes they are extra, even for me. Line sometimes long but believe me, you won't regret!Pilsen Damen and 21th place.
One of the best tamales I've ever ever had!!! They make them nice n fat and the masa is not dry, it's very soft and yummy!! Their champurrado is also very delicious. I definitely recommend her services to others.
Love this place, been going there since 2014 but she has been there much longer. I tried their recently released vegetarian/vegetable tamale. It was good but I want the cheese, so I always order rajas con queso go home and fry them on the skillet. Overall the best tamales I have tried and economical. I hope they continue to make them as they do and be considerate of the community they originally served.
As pregnant women that doesn’t mess around when it comes to her tamales, let me just say her tamales are ?delicious. Don’t play urself like I did and be there early I didn’t get to try the frijol con queso ones. Btw her chanpurrado is ? as well!

I have been a loyal buyer for so long but the past three times I bought the tamale dough (masa) was completely RAW!! I don’t know what happened but it seems like she’s so care free on how she cooks them now!!! Completely UNEDIBLE!!! ?
Love THESE tamales! I do wish she offered extra salsa on the side, but i recommend rajas the most.
