I love this restaurant and would never give it a review below a 5.BUT...Chaat aside, there were no vegetarian options. Tahoora used to offer delicious pakoras and savory paneer paratha rolls. No longer. It dismays me to say that I no longer enjoy the Sunday Poori Aloo Halwa breakfast too. This place has done better. It can still do better.Dissatisfied Longtime customer

They offer a large selection of quality South Asian sweets and snacks.Their vegetable samosas are excellent. I always stock up when I'm in town. If you want a large order, call ahead and they'll have it ready when you arrive. The staff are consistently courteous and helpful. The entire restaurant is immaculately clean, including the restrooms, which are the most pleasant on Devon Street.

I've visited Tahoora many times in the past and on my most recent visit from this weekend I can surely say that Tahoora has gone down in quality unfortunately. To start off, the restaurant is quite big with a second floor also, however the first floor is the only area available for sitting but majority of the seats/chairs were closed with caution tape on them for some reason. This caused many people to stand up and eat. Secondly, the restaurant had dirty and sticky floors. Instead of the janitor blocking off the area to clean the floor, he decided to put his wet mop while people were walking. The bathrooms are also very disgusting. When it comes towards the food and sweets, the main purpose of the restaurant, the quality was okay. I wasn't a fan of there samosas as the taste was quite plain. However, the pistachio flooda was amazing. I would only come back here just for the pistachio flooda, other than that this place has went downhill and I'll probably visit Ajwaah Sweets instead which is also on Devon.

I wanted to try their pizza but they didn’t have the size I want. It would’ve been reasonable if they sold me that one for the price of the one I wanted but maybe that was asking for too much.Otherwise the taste is good, quality isn’t horrible. The tables are usually dirty though so that can be uncomfortable.

We went here especially on a friend's recommendation. Good range of sweets. Great taste. We brought lots of them back home to Colorado.

Extremely bad experience at the very first time. I selected items and purchased the same online, but on checking out I found one of the items missing. I immediately sent mail to Tahoora as they were closed at that time. The items were to be delivered to my family members at Santa Clara hence provided their contact details. One if the staff called the Shipper number and informed about missing number of sweets. When my relative asked to include what’s missing the staff said it’s all packed and they have included items as per their wishI don’t understand how can some one act so rudely when you have already received email and the missing item is listed in emailExtremely bad behavior and one of worst services I have ever experienced

Their chai is run of the mill and not anything to write about. Biscuits are good, crisp qnd crunchy. Mithai is average. Place is tidy and hygienic.

I been to tahoora alot of times, very delicious pizzas, sandwiches, samosas & spring rolls, Sweets are the best in tahoora, only thing missing is halwa puri.

I always love their mithai best in town. All snacks are fresh and authentic taste . No one can beat Tahoora sweets in whole USA. Lots of sitting place and nice and clean.

Delicious sweets and snacks, always busy since it's very popular. A must try when visiting Chicago!
