I’m very proud to say that Chicago has MANY good taco spots, but Taco Boom is one of those Hidden Gems. I’ve driven by so many times this Cool Green Truck and finally decided to try it…. BRO… These tacos tastes like it’s summer time and your Uncle is just throwing DOWN on the grill! They are honestly some of the BEST tacos I’ve ever had.
We live close by and after months of passing it by we decided to give Taco Boom a try. My son had the Birria Ramen and I had a Taco Cabron and they were both so good, we also got 2 plain asada tacos. The meat quality is so good so juicy and a good amount in each taco. I will definitely be going back soon.

They gave me the wrong order I didn't realize it till I got home so I had to take the drive all the way back over there just for them to tell me there's nothing they can do about it. If I wanted my right order I had to pay all over again! The food was untouched and actually more than what I purchased. He tells me he had to remake the other guys food so does that mean he had to pay all over again? doubt it! I am allergic to onions and could DIE! EVERYTHING IN THIS BAG HAS ONION! So I lose all around! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
First time trying them was very pleased. Got a taco chingon, a taco boom,and a taco de al pastor. Great place would highly recommend again. As for outdoor seating you can eat in your car or get take out and bring it home. Look on the bright side you eat in your car you can always go get seconds. Lady was very friendly. At times they can have a huge volume of customers
This spot is a taco truck but the food is delicious. I jus ate two tacos de queso birria Thats Goat and cheese. This was not my 1st time eating queso birria but this was my first time eating a Taco Boom and I must say the food was good and delicious I also had the Ramen noodle and Birria it was also very tasty and satisfying. I don’t have any really negative comments to say about this location only that the weather was cold other than that this place is a must stop to see if you’re in the Chicago area I want to taste local food.
