My birthday cake was decorated beautifully but the cake itself was too sweet. There was more icing than cake and it was hard to eat more than a bite because of how sugary it was. I had higher expectations given all the positive reviews.
This bakery is fantastic. I just ordered a cake over the phone and the woman who took my order was great, however, I find it offensive when she was taking credit card payment and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. This is ridiculous. They are selling a product that I am buying They are doing their job by making the cake. Don’t ask me if I want to leave a tip. I said no.
This is sugary goodness I would say it’s the best old fashioned sweets place for miles/states. I’m obsessed with everything here. They are wonderful for ordering whether it is online or phone call for special events and always are professional, nice and accommodating.I just wish they would do the peppermint brownie year round because it’s the best thing I’ve ever ate.Other notables: carrot cake cupcake, cinnamon rolls, magic bar, molasses cookie, ranger cookie, either parfait and any of the pies are pretty great. The chocolate cakes was a bit dense for my liking but I’m sure that’s personal preference.
Love Sweet Mandy's - we were recommended them from friends for our wedding cake and it was delicious!! Guest raved about it, best cake I've ever tasted. The tasting process was so cute with cupcakes - with COVID every other bakery wasn't giving out tastings, but Mandy's did!! My only complaint was the cake showed up 3 hours too early than the drop off time it was supposed to. But no worries, Mandy's refunded the delivery charge and the cake made it through cake cutting (it was the first thing we did when we walked into the reception). I love this place and pick up cupcakes as sweet treats for friends back home now. <3
Love this place. Hands down the best buttercream cupcakes. They are addicting. Their cookies are also amazing.
First time to try their chocolate cream pie. We were glad they were not sold out yet because Thanksgiving was close. We just walked in and ordering was a breeze. The pie was really good. Just hoped the bottom of it was a pie crust than Oreo crust because it made the taste sweeter.
The BEST bakery! Their iced sugar cookie is insanely good and love all their cupcakes (Cookie Monster is my fave). I live nearby and it’s my go-to spot to pick up items before any party (birthday, celebration, holiday) and it’s never disappointed! Most recently came to pick up pies this morning for Thanksgiving!
The only way to get any bakery items from sweet Mandy B’s is to order online then wait in a long line for some time even though it only took two minutes to get my order. Only one customer can be in the shop at a time due to covid. Despite their setup, the cookies and brownies are really good, some of the best I’ve tasted. I would recommend the Oreo brownie.
Great cakes and service. Everything I have tried from them has been fantastic. Especially the passion fruit cake.
We went every evening when we were in town visiting! Tried the cupcakes, cookies, banana pudding… but my favorite was the peanut butter chocolate rice crispy!
