Swedish inspired food. Great tribute to the Swedish heritage of Andersonville.
Walking in I was transported to the Norway pavilion at EPCOT with a detour through IKEA. The food was SO good. Juice was fresh, coffee was on point. Nothing better than Swedish meatballs, omelettes and smoked salmon after a green start to your Saturday.One call out - the Google menu is not up-to-date. Selection is expanded and prices are higher, but worth it. They also accept debit (no fee) and credit (3% charge).
Great salmon smorgasbord. Old school weak diner coffee with unlimited refills. Comfortable and friendly with great service.
Service was great. Food was OK. Overall, it’s a cute place. However, they charge for hot water and coffee top offs which was a bit off-putting.
The staff is wonderfully attentive and the food is incredible! Highly recommend for a cozy breakfast spot!
Mediocre food, in a cute room with generally friendly service. Unfortunately they like to charge extra for using credit cards and I'm not interested in paying extra to give them my money. Cash handling is the way more expensive means of payment. Credit card fees are their cost of doing business, much like the electric and water bill. I don't see a pay slot at the urinal or sink for water, or pay slot at the table if you want over-head lighting, etc. Oh you want that food cooked? Well, you'll have to pay 10% extra for the gas bill to pay for the heat to cook that food. Ughh. So ridiculous.
Great restaurant.. always have had a good time there .. the Swedish pancakes with the lingonberries are a must have.. I always used to go for the Viking breakfast which had best of everything.. eggs pancakes sausages(a bit on the saltier side but that’s how it is) .. the changed menu has a couple of different combinations of the Viking breakfast which are good as well.. the service is amazing and your coffee never runs out .. the staff are super friendly and have never had a bad experience .. it’s a nice little space tucked away and cozy.. definitely a place to try out if in Andersonville .. it’s great that they accept cards now as well .. although you won’t be allowed to split if paying via card.
