Too expensive for the food
I am not sure how the ratings of this restaurant are so good? It was Saturday night reservations were at 7:00 we did not get there until 7:30 due to unforeseen circumstances. We thought no way will we get in. Upon arrival the restaurant was empty and no problem to be seated. When the food arrived it was obvious why the restaurant was empty. The sashimi was old fish and not good! Smelled so bad I had to move the plate to another table

I reserved the omakase experience and in the description it said it would be a 10 course meal but it turns out it is actually 10 pieces of sushi. The sushi was delicious but this is very misleading to the customer. Also the photos made it seem like the chef would be making the sushi pieces in front of us but instead it was just served to us by our waitress. If I had known that it was just 10 pieces and it was not being made in front of us fresh I would’ve looked elsewhere.
Terrible service. Food was quality, but the ambience is awful. Won’t be back.
Great food experience
This was my first visit, probably the best sushi in the Gold Coast or Old Town area.
We arrived and the staff was not aware we booked the omakase experience for a special occasion. We were seated in the main dining area, which is the lobby of a hotel. The ambiance is very strange with hotel guests close in the area. The staff didn’t seem knowledgeable. The food was good but not worth the price tag
Everything was delicious and our server, Zara, was amazing!
A creative and delicious — and photo-worthy array of foods! We were seated. On time, and the service was exceptional. A great choice.
