Cute old-school drive-in serving great Chicago dogs. I read about this place in the book 1,000 things to see before you die. Happy to finally check it out in person. It's a drive-in, so you park your car and order from your car window. They also have a walk-up counter. Ordered a super dog with all the fixings. Spicy, sweet, tasty. Great hot dog. Compared to Portillos this is a much more authentic Chicago dog. I liked how they give you a pickled green tomato chunk, instead of the traditional tomato slices. I wish more places would do that. The vanilla shake was good. I also liked the super onion chips. Highly recommend.
First time to Superdawgs and I was not let down. I got a superdawg and some superveggies. The dog was amazing. I love it. Really great flavor. Superveggies were ok, but not really my thing. I look for to trying some other stuff on the menu for my next visit. Also, the building is just beautiful. Especially at night!
Ok we knew we were going to Chicago and wanted to have a classic Chicago hotdog. Found several reviews recommending this place so we gave it a try. WOW can’t believe I’m about to say this place was in top three places we ate while in Chicago! Their Hotdogs were awesome! I would definitely come back when I return to Chicago!

There's a reason Superdawg has been around forever and that's because it's amazing. The retro ambiance adds to the entire drive-in experience and I haven't had a better burger in this town.
