Great food, fast service and great staff. I would definitely go back
Reservations was at 9pm. We arrived at 9:05pm, did not have any tables ready. Tried seating us at a table in front of the live band ð. Finally sat after waiting 15mins. Waiter came after 5 minutes of us waiting and took our order. Food and drinks came in a timely manner. The Cajun fried wings were bland and did not taste Cajun at all, the rest of our food was okay. Nice spot to hangout for drinks and the ambiance.
We visited for my friendâs birthday. I wasnât sure if she was supposed to get free dessert or not but she did not. Other than that everything was perfect. We arrived earlier than our reserved time and they were able to seat us immediately. The food was amazing with great options and our waiter Michelle (with the best name there is) was an amazing server. She was kind, attentive, and warm-spirited. I couldnât have asked for a better first-time experience here. Great job!
The food was yummy. The drinks were tasty and packed a punch. The food took a little long but worth the wait. The staff were friendly, conversational, and attentive. Someone was always checking in or offering suggestions. I loved the music and moving visuals on the wall.
Iâm one that donât like a lot of seasoning on my food, however I found the dishes here were lacking in flavor. I think they were all missing salt. The Cajun pasta needs more vegetables added along with some andouille sausage. The catfish nuggets fish was not seasoned just the coating. Also the andouille sausage was over cooked, maybe had been deep fried. I wanted to like this place but itâs a no for me. Try Soule instead
Made a reservation for brunch. Called and informed restaurant we would be late and arrived within the grace period for the reservation. Despite the restaurant offering the seating time they did on OpenTable, we were informed on arrival that the kitchen had already closed and they were no longer serving food. The cocktails we ordered were enjoyable at least. However, there is an automatic 20% service charge with wait staff requesting additional gratuityâs on top, which didnât add to the already disappointing experience.
Great food and ambience. Disappointed that we could only choose from the brunch menu at the time we arrived. It was only one time slot available for reservations on the day we planned to dine. Looking forward to going back for the dinner menu.
My friends and I were having a brunch day out in Chicago and decided to stop by storyville after seeing so many great reviews! We ended up having a beautiful set up in the lower lever for our reservation. Our waitress Nolynn was AMAZING! She told us what was best on the menu and was very timely being the only server (props to her! Make sure she is recognized!) I ordered the shrimp and grits and side potatoes and everything was DELISH! All in all, I will defiantly be back again and again and AGAIN!!!!!
Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meal. The Praline French Toast was good enough to eat without syrup and the Fritz were delicious. Service was impeccable. We were able to eat outside on the small patio and even though we were the only diners out there, we never felt forgotten. Highly recommended.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Just watch your bill. We almost included a tip and there was already a 20% tip factored in. They said it was included on the menu but must be in fine print because we missed it. We just happened to be reviewing the bill and saw the 20% added. In my opinion a tip should never be added unless itâs a large group (there were four of us) because it should depend on the service.
