Horrible service by what can only be described as a pouty child.
Starbucks directly across from the Art Museum Chicago. Clean, nice servers, great place to get your Chicago Starbucks cups and mugs. The only thing we did not like was the bathrooms were messy and one had no toilet paper. Other than that we liked this place.
Perfect location, and always saves me after I come out of the Art Institute with an empty stomach.
Very quick service despite the busy area. Derek is extremely professional. Exceptional hospitality.
Was the first time I used my own cup at a Starbucks branch (I’m so proud of myself). I was served by Montse (which is a very unique name, I liked it). The service was quick and efficient. While my drink was a little hot it was definitely good and not too sweet. Thank you Montse.
Nice personnel, good internet and was not crowded, like other Starbucks.
The cleaning lady was extremely rude (I don’t know her name but she is African American, on her 30’s short and obese)She yelled at the clients, threw chairs and Forniture making a lot of noise.I’ve been a frequent customer for more than 20 years and never had to see someone like her at Starbucks. So, my evaluation it’s for this particular location hoping that the manager take care of this. Thanks
I have never made a review post before but this place has inspired me. This was an awful service experience. When we got in line there were about 7 people in front of us and it took 10-15 minutes to get to the register. Once we got there the cashier did not know what a cafe vanilla Frappuccino is, and there was one person making all of the drinks. He was doing his best, but everyone else did not seem to be very good at their job. The shift lead was terrible, and there should not have been two people on register. No one was calling out drink names or even putting names on the drinks. Everything was disorganized and we were ignored when asking for a straw. Terrible experience.
The absolute friendliest Starbucks employees are at this store!
Employee Theft!! Worst experience of my over 1,000 trips to Starbucks in my life. I thought the location on 200 S Michigan in the heart of downtown Chicago is supposed to be upscale. It all started when I visited the location this Friday after ordering in advance on my app, I ended up waiting over 25 minutes to receive my drinks that were below PAR. I didn’t understand how they can have only 1 employee making drinks while the only other employee was filling up napkin dispensers instead of helping the 10 people in line. When I finally received my drinks, I ended up leaving my $300 pair of sunglasses on the table. When I arrived home, I called and spoke with one of the employees named Afraditi, she was very nice and even remembered me by name. she told me that they were closing but that she will holdMy glasses for me till the next time I came downtown to pick them up. 5 days later I tried to get my glasses, and she said they were here a couple days ago and now they can’t find them and then tells me they are not responsible for loss items. Even though she told me she had them in her possession and will hold them for me. The only people who had access to my glasses were the employees. I spend an average of $3,500 a year on Starbucks, (verifiable on my app) and if management does not make this right, I will never make another purchase again.Edit to my review: I was contacted by the district store manager and he intervened. He said they will contact me once he contacts the store manager. One week later, they said they found my glasses misplaced on a back shelf. I did end up taking another drive downtown to pick them up.
