Came here with my kids for my sons birthday breakfast. We took the train and got off and it was right there. Such great food, seriously give them all of your money. The employees were so friendly and nice as well. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
These were very good donuts. The red celvet was my favorite! We went back a second morning to get more. Iced coffee was pretty good too! (I am kind of an iced coffee snob). Only thing I was not a huge fan of was the chocolate sprinkled donut. These are usually my favorite, but it was just ‘ok.’ Just had a different flavor than what I am used to. The donuts were very fresh and I would go back for sure!
Delicious donuts. Absolutely delicious. I wish Stan's donuts was on the East Coast(Boston Preferably) So many choices. And very friendly staff. I shared a variety dozen with my friends and the whole box was gone within 20 minutes. The gluten free donuts are just as good as the regular ones. Love the prices. So every time I visit Chicago I'll make sure to stop by Stan's donuts and coffee. And you should too.
This is one of the busiest Stan’s Donuts location near the Blue line Damen stop and my favorite dance studio, Mazi — I just happened to visit it when it was empty… A colorful, fun location to be in, where you can have solid donuts with good coffee (I usually go for the cold brew ☕️)! They change the specialty donuts from time to time, but I do love their lemon pistachio old-fashioned which is always available (unless they are sold out)?. Originated from California but transformed in Chicago, I’d say, and I do think it’s worth a visit if in town !
Super cute store and delicious donuts!! They range from having the basics to some really interesting and decadent donuts! I would definitely recommend to any donut lover or any adventurous sweet tooth!
Frustrating & annoying that they keep raising their prices and changing their offerings & recipes (even before COVID so calm down). But I just had the worst donut ever & it was nothing like the old quality of Stan's. Their Strawberry Bismarck used to be amazing. Seemingly freshly made filling with chunks of real strawberry, not overly sweet, light & airy, and delicious. What I had today was mass produced corn syrup gelatin garbage that you expect from the corner store in the Bronx. Utterly disgusting. I've already lessened the amount I visit Stan's because of their shenanigans, but this really is the last straw. Fool me twice... Close my wallet.
These donuts are excellent! Worth the trip. There was a line but it went fast. Many varietys are available. You will want to try a few different flavors!
My family and I discovered this place on a recent visit to Chicago. We tried five different donuts and all were excellent. They are way better than they have to be. Can't recommend enough.
It had been a long time since I’ve had a doughnut, honestly. Unless you make them yourself, it’s generally hard to find vegan doughnuts. However, Stan’s Donuts & Coffee has a couple options to choose from! I had the chocolate and the cinnamon sugar. The chocolate is more akin to a traditional cake doughnut, but not quite as heavy on the body. The cinnamon sugar was light and fluffy and I could easily see myself crushing a half dozen of those one day. Both were fantastic.I also grabbed myself a hash brown to counterbalance all the sweet. A little dash of salt and pepper and it was a wonderful way to wrap up. Top notch all around, here.
First time ever at a Stan's Donuts. Stopped in while waiting for my Damen Ave. bus to arrive.Ordered 1 Boston Cream to go. Delicious. Right amount of vanilla cream and topped with just the right amount of chocolate. Will definitely go back. Want to try one of their specialty croissants. Thanks!
