I’m not usually a pure gluten-free guy, but the cake battered pancakes here are incredible! 100%, I would do it again, my wife love them as well. The side of bacon, and eggs, we’re also very good. Not to be forgotten, the hot chocolate was fantastic. We ate outdoors.
What a cute place. I had a breakfast sandwich here and the food quality was outstanding. If you are looking for something low key in the area to grab a quick breakfast item this should be on your list!! I would tell others to check it out. The customer service here is also very friendly & helpful.
Cute place with really good food! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat in their outdoor area for lunch on a nice day, and it felt like we could be on vacation :)
Had a late brunch of gluten-free pancakes and it was a real treat. The portions are pretty large so watch out for that. The coffee was a nice complement to the pancakes. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch.
Southport Grocery catered an engagement brunch for me and my fiancé! The food was wonderful and delicious. The trays feed like 6-12 people, not 6, in our experience! That's assuming you're ordering other sides, etc... we had way more food than needed but we enjoyed the leftovers just as much!
Truly incredible food, the homemade biscuit was to die for and everything was cooked to perfection! Can't wait to come back
Lovely setting and really good service. Mimosas made with fresh juice and plenty of champs. We both had the hash and my husband had the biscuit too. Delicious!
Fantastic food and service as always. Bread pudding pancakes are by far the best pancakes I have ever had.
So I wanted to give this place 5 stars. And if I reviewed them after only the first visit I would have. The food wasn't bad and our party had a good time. But we tried going back 2 subsequent times and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. The reason being that the restaurant gave up our seats before the allotted time we had to come back to the restaurant after putting down our name. This place has ridiculously long wait times. So it makes sense that a person can put the name down and wait elsewhere and come back. The first time this happened they just canceled our reservation due to some rain. Not the biggest issue, but this was after waiting for a very long time. It seemed the person on the phone kept trying to get us to cancel our reservation without being direct. And we told them that we can wait, but after waiting they finally were direct and canceled. A bit of transparency from the get go would have been nice. The 2nd time is the reason I will not be going back. We waited, received the text to come in, and we made it before the time was up only to find out that the host already gave our seat away. We tried showing them the time the text was received but the they were not listening. Our time is valuable and this restaurant does not seem to value it.I don't know why they treat customers in this manner, but it is not a good experience.I leave most restaurants good reviews if the service was good. I don't expect anything phenomenal to leave a 5 star review, but this place has ruined my experience.I hope they can come up with a better reservation system and improve their empathy when dealing with customers.
The cupcake pancake was an EXPERIENCE. I ordered a single pancake with a side of bacon and eggs, which was perfect. If you order their bottomless coffee you get a small cup so each serving stays warm. Also try the chai -perfectly creamy and spicy- as well as the spiked cider; both chase the subzero winter chill away.
