Sorry, but this is no tom yum soup, If you just google it,Will be a totally different soup,And i did had it before,Personal is nice. But i came for the foodThey should remove that soup from the menu,Is just water and shrimp with mushrooms and tomatoes boiled together
Very delicious authentic Thai cuisine that is made with fresh quality ingredients. The crab Rangoon is excellent to start off with, even when I get an order for pick up it is piping hot and with a crispy shell. I also strongly recommend the Pad Thai and Beef Basil- which is served with slices of steak instead of ground steak or chicken which is common. Also the Drunken Noodles dish is fabulous- ask for medium hot if you like spice and there are tons of fresh jalapeños and other crunchy vegetables. All dishes I have ever ordered are excellent, plus the owner of the restaurant is very friendly and service is great!
Nice cozy restaurant serving fresh and delicious meals. We had the crab rangoons the Thai fried rice and Panang curry - all were perfectly flavorful. Service was quick and pleasant. I plan to return to try the pad Thai.
Best Thai restaurant in the suburbs! Pleasantly surprised to have a new spot in the area. My go-to Pad See Ew was incredible and looking forward to trying more items on their menu. Owners are also very kind and accommodating

Really lovely owners. Exceptional pad Thai and pad see ew. They’re super friendly and care about service. We ordered take out and when my husband got home with the food, one of the dishes was wrong. I called and spoke with the owner ( i think he was the owner) he apologized and drove the right dish to my house. I’m all my years of eating out, no business has ever hand delivered a mistake. I was utterly impressed (and shocked) . 5 stars for this business
We have ordered from this restaurant a few times now and the food has always been excellent. They really go out of their way to try to please. Today they were running a little behind and they were nice enough to offer those of us waiting a Thai iced tea. It was super delicious. It is one of our new favorites!!
Can't recommend this place enough. I'm a regular and the food is always excellent. The staff is very friendly and carryout orders are always ready within 15 minutes or so. Haven't tried everything yet, but the food always tastes fresh and the pricing is fair.
So Bowl serves delicious, fresh, flavorful, eye pleasing, filling meals. The decor is the same. The chef came out to clarify the plant based options which made ordering easy. We will be back.
Quite pleased to find a new, tasty, option for Thai nearby!My wife loves Pad Thai once in a while, and I yearn for a bright and flavorful curry. We were both happy tonight after ordering for the first time from So Bowl. I got the Panang Curry (chicken, 3/5 spicy) and she got the Pad Thai of course (chicken, 2/5 spicy). Edamame and brown rice on the side.Curry was super, just the right spiciness - definitely there but didn't overpower the complex flavors. Pad Thai was on fire, more than expected but we like it hot. Fair warning though, next time that'll be ordered at 1/5 on the spicy chart. It needed an IPA to cool it down, good thing we were prepared. Portions were good, not crazy large but enough for a lunch snack tomorrow.Overall very happy, and the owner was cheerful and friendly. I can't imagine opening a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic! We'll be back for more spicy, flavorful Thai soon.
