Such a great brunch deal that I hope never changes! Allows sampling of their great food and for a great price. Jacob was our server and was awesome! Will definitely recommend to others!
I lived in K.C. for 5 yrs so I'm very familiar with good bbq- I tried this place today for the first time and I thought it was pretty good. I had the two meat platter (chicken and burnt ends) with sweet potato fries and Cole slaw. I didn't care for the chicken but the waiter brought me another order of the burnt ends out with no issue at all. My wife, who was born and raised in the K.C. area had the brisket and burnt ends and didn't like either....but she did love the corn bread. I will definitely be going back even if I have to go by myself ???
If you like good BBQ, then this is the place! So they have an original location in westtown on Division but I prefer this location more. For me it’s 50% food and 50% atmosphere. So the portion sizes are generous and the quality of food is on point! The space is open & airy and you have the energy of Wrigleyville right outside the door. This 2 story gem has plenty of space for inside & outside dining while also offering the option of live music on the 1st floor and a more relaxing vibe on 2. Check it out if your in the neighborhood visiting.
I loved Smoke Daddy so much I bought one of their shirts! The location is the MOST convenient if you're a Cubs fan - it's got a great view of the Wrigley Field exterior from the top floor.The pulled pork, briscuit, and smoked wings are fantastic. The sauces on your table mean you can get just the right balance between sweet and smoky flavors. It can get busy because of the location, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. Just eat here already!
AMAZING slow cooked BBQ! I had the burnt ends sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sat at the bar during Father's Day and watched the game. Brian was behind the bar and was very attentive to me the whole time. When my food came out, he explained what type of BBQ sauce was on my sandwich then gave me a breif description of each sauce provided in condiment bottles on the side.VERY busy before Cubs games but very relaxing to watch during the game when the fans are inside of the park.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because 1/3 of my sandwich was fat :( $16 for my sandwich. The flavor was mouth watering. I count eat the fat pieces :(
Great place to go to before the Cubs game. Prices are good and has fixed menu which offers All you can eat or drink. Service was great and the place even had a live band. Would recommend to other people and the overall experience was wonderful.
Super super delicious. Go here now don't even think about anywhere else just make sure you go here first because this is perfect Chicago barbecue. So many choices so many sides so many delicious meats you will go crazy and be crazy full which is exactly what you need.
They opened up early so we could have a few drinks before the Cubs game yesterday. The slush with Makers Mark was a big hit with our wives. We ordered the nachos with burnt ends, beer cheese with pretzels, and smoked wings. The nachos were so good. Just the right amount of cheese. A little chili and their BBQ sauce with burnt ends. The beer cheese was different than we expected. It's served cold and is more like a pimento cheese, but was still really good. The wings had good smoke flavor. We thought a little more seasoning or salt could be used. But squirt a little of one of their 4 sauces on and it was great.
This is only the 2nd time we've been here, but the food was great and the service was excellent! They got us in early on a busy home game day (we did have reservations, just wanted to get in earlier). Food was served quickly and server checked in on us a number of times.
This is an amazing place to eat. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing and it is right across the street from Wrigley Field! What more could you want or need?
