The burgers, fries, shakes, and drinks here are amazing. Old Fashioneds here are incredible. There is plenty of space outside to eat and the service, especially by Karen, is incredible. My only recommendation is that they should have a gluten-free hamburger bun but the lettuce wrap they provide for those who cannot eat gluten is still satisfactory. Make sure to get extra aïoli with your fries. Come here and you will not regret it. Heads up, if you don't wanna wait in line, consider ordering online for pick up.
This fast food was small. Although it's small , there are lots of people coming here. They have tables and chairs inside as well as they also had tables and chairs outside for outdoor dining. This place also was clean and neat.It's just like it was self service since you can grab pork, spoons, condiments, etc. in one area. You can also grab some canned drinks including soda, beer and many more. They also had quick service since it was fast food. You will not wait too long unless you order a lot.If you come here don't forget to order a burger. Their burger was great. It was small yet it was delicious. It's yummy. It has a lot of filling where I'm sure you will like it. I recommend this fast food for you. Try to come here.
I have enjoyed this place so much ever since I found out about it a few years ago. I like how simple their menu is! You can not go wrong with simplicity, which makes my food decisions easier to choose. Favorite Burger is the Cheeseburger with the healthy ketchup. I love the how fast you get your food 10-15 mim max! The stablisment look very clean from the inside and outside. I will definitely recommend Small Cheval to my friends and family. Take out and pickup available as well.
I decided to come here to eat my snacks. I invited my friend but she declined me since she was too busy at her work. I entered this place alone. There were just a few people inside eating their snacks. I ordered a two piece burger with different toppings. I ordered a can of coke for my drinks. My order came really quick. The burger looks good. When I tasted it , it was so yummy and delicious. I can taste the meat , cheese and the burger on it. The burger was not oily. I ordered again for takeout. When I'm at my house , I opened it and it was already messy. The sauce is in the bun and packaging already. But it tasted good so I gave it a 4 stars rating.
Great burguers and fries, excellent and friendly staff. We asked for a lantern because it was a chilly afternoon, and we got it inmediately! My baby grandson appreciated very much and my family as well! Thank you and we will be back!
Burgers are top notch, one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago for a burger. In my honest opinion they’re so much better than Au Cheval, and so much of a lesser wait. Great service, great employees, overall a great experience every time I go along with the milkshakes. A+++ thank you everyone at Small Cheval (Milwaukee)!!!
Great! This resto is the best! I highly recommend this place, really. If you are craving for some Amazing burger’s and also looking for a nice place to have a hang out. this place is the best place to stop by in. their staff are friendly, polite, professional and patient as well, which is a good thing as I would always ask for their opinion. They would talk to you properly and help you with your orders or menu’s, and even regarding about the place. I also love their location because it is pretty neat. My friends and I would always go here if ever there is a hang-out plan, it is our go to place so I really recommend Small Cheval. I would always order their Bacon Cheese burgers because the combination it has is just mouth-watering. Also their double patty is pretty neat. And lastly is their garlic Fries. Really, really recommend those! Especially with a Dijon Mayo, it just brings the food to another level. Definitely the best place. I traveled from AZ and was told to try this place. They only have outside seating but they have heaters and probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The gentleman at the register offered great customer service to every person and suggested items to try. The food was quick and oh My gosh delicious. When I and back in Chicago I will definitely come back.
This is a burger spot with personality. Small Cheval sticks to what it knows, offering an extremely limited menu of just burgers and fries. I tried a hamburger with everything, and was quite satisfied by this simple but quality dish. The dijon gave it great flavor, making me wish more burger chains offered the sophisticated French condiment. My online order was prepared quickly, and I grabbed it from the carry-out only pickup room with ease. They got my order wrong, but quickly corrected it without trouble. The “hard fries” are simply amazing. The garlic aioli served with them is far better than any catsup I’ve ever had. The prices here are a bit high, but so is the quality. If all you want is a classic, well-made burger and fries, then Small Cheval is for you.
