Overall spectacular service and absolutely flavorful delicious dishes!! Our party had the basil chicken medium heat over white rice, the pad Thai (we recommend the wide noodles for a more textured experience), cucumber salad, the seafood rolls, a perfectly sweetened iced coffee, and ofc a BYOB Chilean 2019 Malbec. We like to pair the basil chicken with the cucumber salad for a uniquely delightful combo of fresh crisp texture and flavor. This restaurant was recommended by a few friends that have been going for years and I can see why its so dang good!!
The crab rangoon and vegetable egg roll appetizers were hot and fresh and delicious. The tofu pad thai, chicken pad see ew and pad lo mein with shrimp and rice noodles were all fresh, hot and flavourful. We also enjoyed the taro custard and coconut ice cream with sweet sticky rice. We had one winner after another. I don't think you could go wrong with anything in their menu. The service was great, the tables are disinfected throughly between guests and the tables are comfortably spaced. I'm so happy we found this neighborhood restaurant. We plan to eat there regularly.
Solid food and extensive menu. No frills spot ish vibe. Tried the basil pork fried rice and it was truly incredible. I asked for it extra spicy and they delivered ha.
Always delicious, for years. Pad Thai chicken. If it's not right, I'm sure they'll fix it. Very nice people.
I don’t know how to edit my previous review on the same day at this restaurant… so I’m leaving another one. Turns out the person who took my order was a visitor and not a regular employee. The owner or the restaurant had my dish remade correctly without charge once I told her the situation. That customer service changes everything. I am glad we cleared the air abd I was able to leave a better review.
Best Thai food I've had hands down! A hidden gem..I spoke with the owner Mei and asked for suggestions when I ordered on the phone. Ordered 5 dishes among them Pad Thai, Thai fried rice and Laarb. Everything was excellent!! Highly recommend if you like Thai food.
Mom wanted Thai food for Mother's Day, but her local Thai restaurant wasn't open on Sunday. I was thrilled Siam Noodle and Rice was open. Their menu offered all of our favorites. I placed a large order with lots of substitutions and special requests. I am happy to say the food was delicious. Everyone was very happy with their meals, especially mom. All our special requests were done perfectly. Nothing from our order was missing. After picking up the food we had to travel an hour to get to mom, but everything was hot and the crispy food was crisp. Well done. I'm so happy we found such an amazing Thai restaurant in our neighborhood. We'll definitely be frequenting them and trying more items on their menu. Thank you for helping to make our Mother's Day perfect.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Chicago. We've been coming here for over 20+ years, going back to the old location on Sheridan Rd. Carlos is the best.
Perfect moist rice, warm and juicy meat, rich flavors of sauce - exprience here the best thai food in town. I am already addicted to this place! Delivery was fine but strongly recommend having dish on site.
