Avoid this place at any cost. They scamming people out of their money. Charging 4% cc fee even tho on the door it says service charge. Clover does not charge 4% to process credit card but this restaurant charging almost double than what they paying. Also, regardless of the order size and the age they charging $3 per person gratuity for absolutely no reason. I end up walking out of there paying 44% over the bill and not to mention 10.5% sales tax. In total I paid 54.5% on top of my bill. Total of 4 dishes totaled $46 and I end up paying $72.Be aware of these scammers
Halal Mediterranean restaurant and food taste is average. Need to use street parking. Their gratuity charges is 3$ per person if the group is 5 or above and kids also counted. This is something not felt good and this portion will be more than a platter dish for the group. Family platters are reasonable price and it’s mandi rice with the grill items.
The meat kabsa was delicious, but the ma'soub was not delicious because the bread used tasted doughy and was not cooked well.
The taste and quality of food went down. I am visiting this location after couple years and its not the same (visited on 07May22 for dinner).You serve water but charge a dollar for water bottle without letting the customer know.Above all 3$ gratuity per person is charged.And who charges tax on gratuity?? You should do something better than this... It is not FAIR
Service was friendly and really great!! Unfortunately the food wasn't a good experience, especially for the prices we pay $200+.I ordered a whole chicken with Mandi rice but it was equivalent to a quarter chicken. It was also quite burnt!! I also ordered the lamb with Zyrbin rice, and whilst other places do large of pieces I got only small sized ones throw on top:(most of entrees are packed with rice to make up for the severe lack of meat. Thoroughly disappointed because I did really like speaking with the who was serving us. Moreover we left my wife hat & belt behind but when I called the owner hung up on me claiming he’s busy and can’t talked on the phone unprofessional behaviors!! I think it’s time to find better place
Bad food experience. Worst service ever. Staff did not provide good service. Had dirt on the serving plates. They charged extra for the Gratuity per person plus they charged Non-cash adjustment fee, which i did not understand. We won’t be going next time. I won’t recommend anybody.
I use to go here when it first opened up. It was great food. Over time and ownership change has left this place undesirable. I came from Joliet to pickup food food. Not only it was $55 dollars but it was super cold when I took out in my car to eat. Bring it back to front desk made excuses like that's how it suppose to be and we can't warm it up. On top of that zurbian lamb rice, looks nothing Ike it was before. Would not return.
It's a wonderful place to eat Yemeni food such as mandi and Mutabaq. My orders were mandi beef and Mutabaq. Delicious. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful, I strongly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to everyone who works there.
I ordered murtabak from here , and it was actually yummy! So Cheesy! But only thing is it was quite oily. Anyhoo loved it
I have ordered 10 chicken and 1 lamb mutapaq and instead of that they gave me 10 lamb and 1 chicken mutapaq. After giving them a call, some lady picked up the call at restaurant, and after hearing all the mistakes they have made, she says i can just say sorry. Like seriously! that's how you treat your costumers. Not recommend.
