King crab not meaty and not fresh.
I love Shaws. We've been coming here for eons ;) Miss the brunch buffet. It is pricier than necessary and in comparison to the competition.
Just a bit pricey
Excellent from start to finish! Lots of vegetarian options!
Service was outstanding, food was exactly what I was hoping for. Would absolutely recommend to others
Had forgotten how much I enjoyed it at Shaws. Often I go to Joeâs seafood which is just a few blocks away. Plan to return to Shaws more often
I loved Shawâs in the past and hadnât been for quite some time. But now the food was disappointing and fairly expensive. This could be coming out of Covid problems .
I have been accustomed to outstanding service What we got was mediocre We had to ask for the wine list We had to ask...when will our meals be served This has been my choice of places to go I will see if there is any improvement
We came to Shawâs to celebrate my daughterâs 25th birthday. My husband ordered the PAN ROASTED ALASKAN HALIBUT for $42 (description: yukon gold & purple potatoes, spring peas, garlic potato sauce, lemon espuma). He enjoyed the Halibut itself, but the gold and purple potatoes were literally the size of the peas and there was maybe 8 yellow, 8 purple, and maybe 20 peas. Why even mention the potatoes and peas when there are so few of them and the potatoes are so tiny they seem to be more for decoration and color than to actually eat? Both of my daughters ordered the GRIDDLED GARLIC SHRIMP for $28. We assumed they would be served on a bed of jasmine rice, but there was just a scoop of dried out rice on the plate. Also, It appeared there was a sauce (flavor) on top of the shrimp, but the shrimp were literally smashed flat with the skins on them and the flavoring on top of them. By the time they got the skins off (not an easy task), they were just plain unseasoned shrimp. Not tasty at all. I ordered the FRENCH FRIED SHRIMP for $26 (french fries, cocktail sauce, coleslaw). I ate 3 of the shrimp ⦠they were just blah. My husband ate the fries and the coleslaw because he was still hungry. I get fried shrimp at most seafood places because shrimp is the only seafood I like. Iâve had better fried shrimp at red lobster. This meal was soooo expensive (we each had 2 beers also and we ordered calamari as an appetizer that my husband and oldest daughter said was okay) and so not worth the money. Very disappointed.
Fantastic experience start to finish. Service and food were exceptional.
