You get to grill your own food at your table. Really fun experience. You order the meat you want to grill and they bring out the meat with a pile of side dishes. A little pricy, but for a fun evening of food, authentic Korean, it's worth it. Three of us ate well with lots of leftovers for $100 total. It is authentic, so don't go there looking for hotdogs. Go there for good Korean food.
Great place for Korean food that you can cook yourself on real charcoals. Fun for everybody! Great yeast good speedy yet describe service.
my friend and i venture here for authentic korean food and we were satisfied. We got doenjang jigae, al jigae (cod roe stew), and tobboki. Everything tasted clean with deep flavor and a good spice kick. The price is very reasonable for how much food they give us. Theres also a wide selection of banchan. I’ll def come back here to try their bbq items!
Honestly I think that this is the best spot in Chicago for an authentic banchan experience. The meat was well marinated and there are a TON of side plates (I think there were more than 20 for just two of us). The tteokbokki was also delicious. Despite some initial hesitation given the negative online reviews, I found the waitresses to be very friendly and attentive. The total bill was $100 for two of us, which was reasonable considering that we walked away absolutely stuffed.
We got different bbq meats and a soup that the server recommended. The marinated bbq meat tasted better then the pork belly. The pork belly was just too thin and also too chewy. The marinated short ribs were fantastic. The soup was a bit flavorless given that we were eating heavily marinated meat. Store was smoky but service wasn’t bad. They change the bbq rack frequently which is a plus.
No matter how hungry you are when you arrive, you'll leave full and satisfied. They provide an incredible amount of sides with your meats, and for what you get, the prices are very good! A great spot for big groups of people, whether they be friends, family, clients or colleagues.
Was asked to tip in cash. No problem, but when we did, this one lady asked for more money… 18% in tip because we were a party of 3.. our food was $148.. I have a baby on the way.. and for them to tell my husband that we need to tip more money, caught me off guard. Maybe give your customers a heads up about the whole tip thing. Lesson learned. I’ll speak up more because they also charged me $11 for a sprite can but I got Diet Coke. All good tho. Food was good. It definitely filled me up.
My favorite KBBQ spot in Chicago! They provide the most side dishes and everything comes out quick! Highly recommend for small or large groups.

Food was hearty and hit the spot on a cold rainy day. Their soups really hit the spot. We had their 염소전골 (a goat meat stew) and it had more meat than my party could eat. They also gave a ridiculous amount of banchan! We also ordered some barbeque meats, which were all pretty good, and not too expensive for the portions. The pork belly was pretty thin though. The entire restaurant was very very smokey (their ventilation system doesn't seem to be the best), but I guess that's to be expected at a place that serves kbbq.
