Phenomenally cooked and seasoned gyro, shawarma. Authentic! Total gem in a small strip. Priced well also.
Incredibly flavorful and great service! It's been a fat minute since I've had a meal this delicious. Try the combination lunch special with rice and a side of falafel, you'll be in food heaven. Can't wait to go back!
moldy bread and bad packaging and very bad service.used to be one of my favorite restaurant, but not anymore after the new management it's one off the worst restaurant in Chicago.don't even try to order food from this restaurant.please Salam try to be better than that
Delicious spices and flavor. Rice is really really yummy. Just delicious overall but why you guys do me like this? The chicken shawarma is so dry, it poked and hurt my gums. What the hell ? The shawarma has a really good taste but I got the dry ends ???The lentil soup is really delicious. I expected actual lentils because that's how my family cooks it, but it's still delicious. Tastes great! ?But ouch my gums from that chicken shawarma!Next time I'm ordering rice and lentil soup only ???☀️☀️☀️
I have had ordered different food items many times and everything on the menu, which is quite extensive, did taste delicious. Prices are reasonable and easily can feed 4-5 people under $40-50 bucks. Food is fresh and delivery/takeout is reliable. Must try!
Food is really tasty and must be very authentic because there are always a lot of middle eastern people eating here.Pita is soft and war and not dry and cold like in other places.The entrees are very well served and could easily share by two people.
Horrible experience, I wanted them to give Salam another chance but this great place has fallen greatly. Burnt, strong foul odor, and lastly this doesn’t look like a cheddar Philly cheese steak.
First time eating here. Food is good but the lamb is way too chewy. I got too many pieces of lamb that was complete fat and muscle :/ it’s not a cheap dish so I’m disappointed I couldn’t eat every piece of lamb. I’d probably come here again but I will never order lamb from here again. At least my cat enjoyed the lamb I refused to eat
My sons brought me to Salam for my birthday on the 8th. The staff was so attentive and friendly. I had a combination platter and chai tea. The meal was so delicious! I will definitely return! Thank you for making food with love?
Low 2 star. The vegetarian samosas were extremely greasy and the filling was not good. The falafel tasted strongly of only ginger, was small, and dry.The pita that came with the meal wasn’t toasted or heated.Honestly the entire meal did not taste very good and felt skimpy.
