Where do I even start. I made a reservation online for 7 people on Friday for Saturday. Saturday morning someone from there called me to confirm the reservation. NOT ONCE did they ask me if a kid was part of the reservation. We were going there to celebrate my sons birthday. Granted I had never been there so had no idea about the place. We get there and they said they had no tables. Like huh?? I said we made reservations. They looked and almost seemed offended they found my reservation. They gave me a table in the back. It was 7 pm. At 705 my whole party had not fully arrived. They were literally parking. They asked us again. Did we make reservations? Like seriously??? Then asked us like 3 times if we wanted to order or if we wanted to wait for the rest of my party. Like how impatient are you??!! We said no we will wait. They are literally parking and it's not even like 710. THEN the best part is yet to come. They see my 6 year old son and say they do not allow kids because of the music or something??!!!. Like excuse me ??!! I said I made reservations. Someone CALLED me to confirm and noone said a thing about kids ?! The 2 employees leave and come back and said they will make an "exception" for my son until 10 pm. As if you're doing me a favor. Nooo way was at this point going to spend my money there. I understand they are a busy restaurant. So they could care less about customer service in an era where covid happened. They should be grateful to have customers. But you know once you are popular I guess one customer doesn't matter. I will never go again. We walked out. Went to Garcias a few blocks down and had a great time and they should take pointers from them on how to treat customers.

Great local family run place with great Colombian dishes. Even better live music in small venue. Every weekend different music can be heard here: Cuban, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Samba, itp. This is a special treat worth coming. Parking outside could be an issue on weekends, watch for pay hours on Peterson.

Grat food from Columbian culture, Mango milk my favorite with the soup of the weekend. There's also the sample platter (Bandeja Paisa). Food comes out quick and waiters are friendly, bilingual. Really a chill place to be. Loved it here.

The food is fantastic (empanadas, the fish), the atmosphere is perfect, and if you can sit in the back for the music

First timer at this establishment and was excited because I’ve heard amazing compliments from this restaurant. Everything started great but took a downhill turn. Promptly got my empanadas that ordered but I’m sitting and sitting waiting for the main course. One hour later I’m still sitting and waiting and decided to get up and ask the waiter that I hadn’t checked on us in 35 min and apparently they “forgot” to put our order in. Great job ??… first and last time here

Amazing food, amazing drinks. Definitely going back.

Went there on a Monday. Around 6 in the afternoon. We usually go there in the weekends, any how, the food was horrible. I had the bandeja paisa, and my dad had the picada. You can tell the food was from the day before or earlier, the point is the food wasn’t fresh. I cook, grew up cooking, you can tell. They asked what how I wanted my meat cooked, I don’t even know why bc they gave it to me they way they wanted. The chicharon was dry, also could tell that it wasn’t fresh. The picada only had yuca and the meat wasn’t fresh either. The egg for the bandeja, was made earlier as well they just reheated it too. Have y’all ever had a reheated egg, don’t. Nasty. Anyways, I’m sadly not coming back. They just ended up being lazy, and not caring about their food or restaurant. And won’t recommend either, go to las tablas better, they have great/ better food & music!

The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of the lovely wait staff. We ordered the worst grilled calamari ever ordered at a restaurant, dry, rubbery and dull. The Carne asada was full of veins and the plate was sadly decorated with a dried up piece of yuca and tiny fried plantain. We had to ask for a salsa to wash the terrible food down and even then, the sauces were not good. The tiny wine glass was the straw that broke the camels back

I ordered 30 empanadas for Christmas, I asked for 6 vegetable and the rest 1/2 meat and 1/2 chicken. The meat and veggie ones were very good, however, there was No Chichén only rice on the chicken empanadas. I was very disappointed, and will find another restaurant to order my empanadas from.
