We came with a large group of 8 and they got us seated right away. Our servers were amazing! So many options. We all ordered so many things and everything was delicious not one bad meal, all cooked quickly and well. Great jelly options. The coffee was good. Servers on top of checking with us but also had that delicate touch of not too much. I wish this place was close to home I'd come here all the time. Will for sure come back if I'm ever back in Chicago. Parking was street parking, not too bad.

Super delicious food and awesome service. Waitress was ver attentive and helpful. Food came out lightning fast. I heard they were popular for their skillets but the alaskan waffle is why I'm giving them 5 stars. Best waffle I have ever tasted. Definitely coming back for more next time I'm in town.
Good diner with a cosy atmosphere and prompt service. The grilled cheese sandwich was great. The pecan roll tasted quite good but was a little dry.
Very overcrowded with seating of tables too close! Way overpriced big time 18 dollars for meat skillet! Owner & hostess very rude to customers & their own staff! Will never go there again!

They never fail to welcome you as you enter. The waitress seated us, brought over water and menus immediately. She took our order and checked on us a few times. I enjoyed there Julienne Salad and a chicken soup. I will definitely return.
This place is so cute, the wait staff are super friendly, and the food is good!! It's not trying to be your $$$ IG brunch but it delivers nonetheless. We went here because there was a 3 hr wait at another place that doesn't even take reservations and honestly, I'll keep coming back to S&G instead. Also the tater tots are bomb.
