A fantastic variety across the menu of traditional options from the region that I haven't seen anywhere else. We ordered only things we had never encountered anywhere else in the city and were not disappointed by a single dish. The rabbit is some work to eat as it's lean and bony, but the flavor was unique. Our favorite was the ChengDu handmade sweet and spicy noodles. A delightful experience from start to finish.
What a find! Complex flavors, nice presentation, reasonable prices, very good service. The opposite of a generic 'Chinese takeout'. Pre-COVID memories of Chengdu food markets came back immediately.But you must like your food spicy to fully appreciate it.
I was impressed by the quality of the food and how well the flavours were combined. Customer care was great and service was prompt. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. My evening here was a good dining experience.
Wow! The food was very delicious. We had the dumplings and my friend can't stop talking about it. The customer service plus the nice environment made us feel so comfortable .
Absolute WORST Chinese restaurant in Lincoln Park compared to Xi'an Dynasty or D Cuisine.Tiny portion of food tastes mediocre at the very most. Beef noodle soup with only ~5 very small slices of beef. My husband ordered$18 spareribs which was a just a really small bowl of fried chicken without rice. Taste was extremely mediocre. I had no idea how this restaurant earned so many 5 star reviews. I as a very petite woman had to cook myself 2 hard boiled eggs immediately after having a $25+/person worth of dinner. Horrible experience. Wish I could give them a zero star.

We had a great dining experience at Royal Zhu. The staff were quick to attend to us and our food arrived fast and hot. I liked the variety of the menu and we enjoyed all our orders.
The environment is super clean and the service is done quickly.I took the chicken soup and it was delicious. I love the staff here they take good care of the customers. I would love to try other dishes here . The food was so fresh and delicious. Can't wait to come along with friends. I now got a perfect spot to chill while enjoying delicious dishes.
The food is authentic and delicious. Everything amazing. And they deliver it in the cutest packaging! They also sent along a mask in a panda wrapping so that was a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to order again
