Good dive spot. Friendly and attentive bartender. Got a cooler beer and it wasn’t all that cold. Bar was kinda hot in general, had to pop outside for a minute to cool off in between sips. I’d definitely go back.
$4 hamms 16oz cans and a bartender who drinks with you - also cash only and good dive vibes. Older river north crowd nonetheless

Small dive bar in a business area. We didn’t stay long because there were no seats or tables open. We liked the vibe though and will return on our next to Chicago.

Follow the rules, don't be a DB. Have fun, drink a beer. Wish more places operated like this. Old school charm. Leave the kiddos at home, this is not the place for them.
A truly amazing experience. Chicago's #1 dive bar serving all sorts of drinks. Was especially nice to see a New York Cider available.
Stopped in here briefly after work on a hot day. The bartender was helpful with a disclaimer that they're cash only while also pointing to the ATM. The beers on draft looked pretty standard options, but the real attraction were the fridges to the rear of the place. They have three coolers stocked with craft beers, including many from local breweries. Note: if you get one of the beers in the back, you must let the bartender open it, and if you want a glass you'll want to ask for one. This is definitely a solid dive in an expensive neighborhood and makes for a much better after work bar than anything else around.
