Richard’s is a true hidden gem in Chicago. The manager, Leonard, was one of the kindest restaurant workers we’ve dealt with. He let us try several flavors to help us make the right choice. Any choice would’ve seemed like the right one. Everything we sampled was great. But my personal favorite was the pineapple vodka ice cream.
Honestly some of the most unique ice cream decisions ever tried and they are all great that I've tried. They taste just like the dessert they are named after. from peach cobbler to banana pudding and more. definitely recommend to try at least one and you'll be sold for the rest on your own.
I’ve been twice and it was such great customer service each time. I pulled up and never even had to get out the vehicle. They brought the service to me even on a nice warm sunny day. I got the banana pudding ice cream both times & it’s Absolutely phenomenal!
The banana pudding ice cream is amazing. Leonard was so helpful and every other employee I encountered had excellent customer service. The location could be in a better stop, but the ice cream is worth the travel.

I thought I asked for banana ice cream but instead got banana pudding bread ice cream; My fault. There is no banana ice cream on the menu.The banana pudding ice cream was tasty but I did not like the chunks of bread.Hot dogs are tasty but the hot dog skin is tough.No inside dining; you must wait in your car for your order.The location is a bit isolated.Very nice staff
I thought I'd never see the day when I'd pay $12 for a pint of ice cream before. Before now. Although I requested a pint of sweet potato flavor and a pint of banana pudding, I was charged for a banana pudding and a lemon ice box cookie. To add insult to my injury, upon consumption of my little treat, I couldn't distinguish one from the other. Everything tasted like lemon.Aside from that, it was a tasty little indulgence. I almost ordered a third pint, but they didn't have any coconut - pineapple flavor. It will probably be a hot day in summer before I go back. But don't take my word, try it out for yourself.This stuff will most definitely undermine all efforts to drop some excess weight.
I’ve ordered a 3piece smothered chicken meal and it was an horrible experience. My chicken was raw in the middle.. Mac and cheese was more cheese than noodles the only thing that was good was the potatoe salad and somewhat the red beans and rice. I tried to get compensation for my order with DoorDash but no luck.. If I receive any form of food poisoning I’ll be most def be Looking forward to more than a refund..
They have the best tasting, all natural ? pudding ice cream in the ?. I was blessed to get my free scoop of it today for my birthday. I will be glad when they make it in gallon size!
