Never been treated so rudely before.Sat down at the end of mostly empty bar, bartender didn’t acknowledge me and was on her phone. Not a big deal, I sat patiently for a couple minutes thinking perhaps she didn’t notice me yet. Naturally, I get an important call I have to take so i answer it and talk while sitting at the bar for about ten minutes. After I hang up, I apologize to the bartender as her back is turned to me for sitting there and not ordering yet. Without even turning around to look me in the eye she rudely says “I know. You were on your phone”. She walks away and says she’ll be back in a bit to finally take me order. A woman next to me nervously asks me if we know each other based on this surprising and awkward interaction hoping we are friends. We are not. There’s a dozen other mediocre airport restaurants to waste your money at, don’t do it here.

Didn’t get to eat or drink here. Was greeted by a bartender that was sooooo rude that I turned right around and went to the next closest restaurant. This was on Friday, April 15, 2022. I realize that I am very lucky to have a job that I truly enjoy, but for goodness sake, this bartender has NO business working with the public. Poor thing…

In Concourse A, you need a large sign saying, “Must place order here before sitting.” We sat at the bar for 5 minutes only to be told we must be in line. At that point, 6 were in line. When we walked up, no one was there. Woman working did not want to hear my suggestion. We left for Harry Carry’s where they are friendlier and better food.

Came in for a bite to eat before my flight, waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, but to be fair there was one person working. I took my seat waited another 10 minutes before I could place my order. I ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese ($10.99) what came out was a microwaved 8 inch sandwich, albeit fairly tasty. I did order a Mimosa as a beverage ($18.99) for a 5 oz beverage, I’ve had better for less. It took the server another 25 minutes to realize I was done and ready to pay (at this point my flight had become boarding.) Probably won’t stop by next time at MDW.

I hate leaving negative reviews but in this case find it very necessary. I was with my sister and she ordered Fish and Chips before our connecting flight. I have never witnessed such rude behavior from staff member anywhere! She received her order and asked for malt vinegar. (Any Irish Pub would have this staple available) She was told they were out of Malt Vinegar. She then asked the server for tarter sauce (this was after searching the bag for tarter sauce) The server rudely said "there is tarter sauce in the bag while grabbing the bag and feeling through the bag with her grimy fingers) At this point, we did not want the food and my sister kindly offered it to the gentleman next on line with not compensation! The server overheard my sister making the very nice gesture to the gentleman before we had to rush to our connecting flight and rudely said to him" by the way, no malt vinegar." How dare an employee treat a customer this way! BTW..... the servers name was Halla and if you are the owner of this establishment.....she needs to some training on how to treat your customers!

I wish I would have read reviews for this place first. I had bad service and cold tasteless food. Even my Paloma was bad. I had to order my food at the bar and pay for my food before I received it. Normally that would be ok with me, but I tipped my normal 20+% which they did not deserve. I sat at a table and waited for my food. I lady came out and threw a brown paper sack on the table and said "everything you need is in the bag." The burger and fries didn't have salt, and was cold. I waited for the lady to come back to ask for salt because there wasn't any on the table, but I never did see her again. I left hungry and thirsty. I wasted almost $50.00 on a meal and drinks. I didn't have time to complain because I had a plane to catch.

Avoid this place. They don't have any draught beers and the only Irish drink is Jameson - literally no Irish beers. The salad was mostly frost burnt and tasted like it was sitting in a cooler for a few days. The chicken on the salad was so bland it actually made me miss the wilted lettuce. The tenders were just lame. I gave it two stars because at least they were open and had some kind of food and drinks.

Not sure why the reviews are low? My bartender here today was great and made me an Awesome spicey Titos bloody mary!!

At $18 for a burger and fries, I was expecting at least fresh ground beef and a well-made burger. This was neither. The worst $18 burger I've ever had. And I've eaten a lot of burgers. A frozen beef patty, unremarkable roll and way over-priced, even for Chicago's Midway Airport. Oh, and that draft Miller Lite for $10 bucks!?! Had I known it was that expensive I would have simply gotten an ice water. I mean, I was only ordering one beer, not a pitcher! $31.27 for a frozen burger puck and a beer. Are you kidding me?! And an awful burger at that.

My recommendation is to not eat here. I wish I’d read other reviews before choosing this place. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was terrible - I’m not sure it was even bacon on this tasteless burger. The lettuce and tomato were both hot and wilted. My husband had the fish and chips - it was good - choose that.
