It's my first time eating from Redhot Ranch and I have to admit I was blown away. The burger is impressive and in my opinion competes with Five Guys as the best burger I've ever had, it's that good. Simple but freaking awesome. It was juicy and tasty. The fries were excellent as well and the hotdog was great too! I'm very impressed and I highly recommend this awesome local joint!
I saw the Hot Dog Ranch on “Check Please” and wanted to try the double cheeseburger and their fresh-cut fries. I had lunch there recently but wasn’t that happy with the overall taste of the cheeseburger, it had what I would term a “pasty taste” not what I was expecting. Although the ingredients were fresh and crispy and there was a good amount of “secret sauce” it missed the mark for me. I could taste the caramelized beef patties, cheese, and the crunchiness of the fries it didn't have a distinct sauce taste. The staff is friendly and will get your order done in no time. BTW, it’s “cash only”!
The RHR single with cheese is perhaps the best cheeseburger on the planet. It’s what cheeseburgers were invented to be. The most perfectly balanced veggies to meat to bread and a little greasy. The double is just a step beyond, and while still great, I always get 2 singles. Seriously, it’s perfect. My favorite hand cut fries. Tasty milkshakes. Very consistent no matter who makes it. Basic cash only joint. Good service. I love it.
Very good burgers. You can see they don't use frozen patties, but smash a ball of fresh ground beef on the grill. The fries are hand cut too. Will definitely be back.
Friendly and hard working staff. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers/fries and hot dogs are their stables. Cash only.
This place is lovely! Best burger I've had in awhile, plus the staff are very friendly. They are cash only but that just means it'll be easier to give them a well-deserved good tip!
Probably the best smash burger in the city. It goes well with the hand cut fries. The fried shrimp was very good too. Please note that this place is CA$H ONLY.
Solid eats for a red hot, Polish, fries or their tasty fried shrimp. Fish sandwiches are better than the stuff served across the street.Their fried shrimp is so good because they don't fry other items in the same oil. The oil baskets are for fries or shrimp. Fries are true hand cut. Their burgers are served like In & Out style. Thin patties stacked. Filling, tasty eats after games or to soak up the booze after a night out. Bring cash otherwise you'll have to hit the Atm.

Local spot with a smaller menu of hot dogs, burgers, and a few other things. Food was hot and on par with many other similar restaurants in the Chicago area.Their hot dogs have relish, onions, mustard, and sport peppers which is one of the combinations I don't mind.Fries are above average and come with each hotdog or burger inside the paper wrapping. Definitely want to eat the fries hot if you can, but they aren't too bad if they are cooler.Fried shrimp are also decent.This business is cash only.
