It’s not the pictures on the internet an it’s very small. So I took my daughter there to try it of course it’s something new to her an plus she’s only 11 so it will take her a while to order right? we were asking what the different items were and he actually copped an attitude from us asking what different types of food that they serve in the warmer that wasn’t labeled he then walks off…they’re attitude was so unacceptable I will not be returning
Go to lunch spot in Hyde Park. We've never eaten there, only pickup/delivery. The combos come in these great boxes with main, side, rice, samosa, and paratha. Their tandoori chicken and lamb curry are soooo good. Chicken briyani (only on weekends) is also fantastic. I live for their samosas. Honestly, I've tried almost everything here (*Indian menu; not Southern) and they're all great. The Alo Gobi is really nice, and I love the flavor of the Alo Curry potatoes.
Simply put it was delicious. But there was nothing simple about the food. I ordered the medium chicken and mashed potatoes and words cannot describe what was going on in my mouth. Best decision ever to try out south African food. I cleaned my plate.
These staff are so lovely, friendly, and helpful. The food is cooked with love and ready quickly. Good prices and most importantly good samosas!
So good with both cuisines!! I had no idea what to order so got (a) the butter chicken combo which was delicious and plenty and then (b) the two piece chicken, which was also delicious. I was traveling and thinking of doing something more formal but so happy I stopped here instead. Folks were nice to help me understand what to order.
I have seen a lot of American reviews of this restaurant. Let me be clear. The food in the restaurant is not generally good. Only parathas and samosa, which are probably frozen, are alright. Curries are extremely bland and are very inauthentic. Deserts have bitter aftertaste. Mango Lassi is alright but also appears to be bought from India store. As an Indian, I would NOT recommend this restaurant if you are looking for real and authentic food. The curries are made with

We've ordered deliver of food from here so many times. The food is good, very reasonable prices, portion sizes are good, and the delivery is quick. Go to place for a quick, healthy and satisfying meal.

What a nice place! ? Many foods to choose from. I love it. The staff is very nice. Specifically that young man. If I could go there everyday I would and it’s only my first time buying food from this place. Amazing.
