Did Pride Brunch with a group of friends. Wonderful time...except some food didn't show until others were done eating. A real drag. But it was a perfect day. NOTE: Menu online is different from reality. Things change. Brunch items looked and tasted great.

So disappointed to see 1 star reviews regarding Covid safety - I am proud to have establishments like R Public House in my neighborhood who are committed to keeping staff and community members safe, thank you!We live in the neighborhood and visit often. Great local beer selection, chill vibes, delicious bar food (R Public Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Chicago). We usually sit at the bar and love to chit chat with the bartenders. I also really appreciate that R Public House serves thoughtful mocktails, I love the N/A garden martini but sadly I think it’s off menu now. Great neighborhood spot, keep on rockin!

Drinks could have been a little stronger but they were delicious. The food was super yummy. We got the bourbon burger and it was juicy, so good.

Very strange experience here. When I asked the server if anything on the menu could be made gluten free, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and insinuated I was dumb for even asking. He said that absolutely nothing on the menu could be made gluten free, which seems contrary to other reviews I’ve read saying they had GF menu items here. I’m not sure why he told me I couldn’t eat a single thing, not even something like a plain salad which didn’t have any gluten ingredients in it. I understand servers have bad days, but I didn’t appreciate being laughed at for even asking, and it was just a strange experience overall. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you need to ask any questions or have any allergiesEdit to add: This was about a month ago, our server was a man, white, maybe around 45 years old. I wouldn’t want anyone to get in trouble, i’m glad to hear this isn’t the norm

Crowded and a little noisy but good food, pleasant staff. Burgers are good, but what is to die for are the bacon wrapped dates. The fried dill pickles were good.Added photos from brunch today. Bottomless mimosas and other goodies. Always a good meal here and friendly staff!

I was coming home from work a couple months ago and ordered Togo food online. Got home, ate the burger, went to eat dessert…. dessert was not right. Sent a Facebook message to R Public House and someone responded within a couple minutes which was cool. Renee followed up with me the next day and made a really great effort to make it right. Ordered again tonight and dinner was perfect. It absolutely hit the spot at the end of a very busy day. Great food. Thank you for taking care of me and making it right. I will absolutely be back.

Love this place! Outdoors is dog friendly, good food good beer and good people! It’s a great date night spot and is perfect walking distance with an el stop right outside! Can’t wait to enjoy this place all summer long!

Excellent and savory pub food. I have lived on the Hamberger medium with blue cheese and a side salad for 9 years. It has become a comfort food order for us. Nice space inside and out and ALWAYS friendly staff. Which is a gift during these tough service times. We enjoy bringing friends for wood-fire pizza or creative cocktails.Kiddos are apt to find good selections.

This is the best neighborhood spot in Rogers park. My husband and I love coming here. Their drinks and brunch are amazing! They have the best staff and owner too. A Rogers park gem!

Glorious, glorious, glorious. This place is a gem year-round and is magical when it snows and you get to eat inside.
