Love the potato noodles!
Ordered a duck blood & vermicelli soup delivery cause I saw people recommending it, however it is very disappointing. It is not even a matter of if it has the authentic taste or not, I’ve had not-so-authentic ones back in China but they still taste good, this is a matter of if it is eatable or not. The duck intestine and the blood have very obvious meaty and gamey taste, I took one bite and immediately spit it out. The soup is not flavorful enough. I’m not from Nanjing but my boyfriend is, I would imagine him or anyone from Nanjing would found this soup completely unacceptable. If you want to get duck blood & vermicelli soup, go get that Huiwei instant one, that one is much much much better.
Ordered noodles that’s not spicy, all the ingredients taste not fresh. I think they use the spicy taste to cover up the bad taste

I got the braised pork glass noodles (gf) which were amazing, I am gluten free (by choice not celiac and am not vulnerable to cross contamination so don’t base off of this for gf) I was looking for good gluten free options in Chinatown and happened to stumble upon this place on accident while ordering bubble tea nearby. The customer service is very good. My girlfriend who is not gluten free ordered the regular braised pork noodles and also loved them. If you normally don’t eat spicy foods definitely get the “no spicy” option for your broth, it is still flavorful and tasty. 10/10 would eat there again

I love Chicago Snack House! I grew up in Chicago and moved to Atlanta GA, I really missed Chicago foods which they provide all the favorites!!! My order was right on time. Now I can have a little piece of home.
