This spot is always busy for a reason! The food is top notch. You customize everything you want to come in your hot pot. Tried the mushroom and chicken broth. I liked the chicken one more. The fried tofu was such a good add on. The beef balls were good but not as flavorful as I would have liked. Easily spent $100 on here for two people. Ivy was a great server! Took a star away since the sitting is very weird in the center tables. It’s so close and doesn’t feel like much privacy to your own table

The place is clean, elegant, and super spacious. The portions are plentiful for the price and the meat is delicious and fresh. Theres an abundant variety of food to choose and the spicy broth is SPICY. We also tried their new chicken broth and it had a wonderful deep flavor and consistency. They have a pretty clean and well stocked sauce bar. The servers are nice and mostly efficient. They were super busy when we were there last so it just takes a little wave for them to come by! (Tip: join their waitlist via Yelp if you're coming at a busy time!)

This has to be the best hotpot in the States. So glad we discovered this spot, the selection and quality of the items is amazing. Excellent and attentive service along with fantastic food, Ivy was our server and really made us feel welcome and thoroughly attended to. Can’t wait to come back, after this food coma wears off.

The customer service is amazing here. This is my favorite hot pot place in Chicago. They’re always very busy, so I recommend putting your name down for their waitlist on yelp. Qiao Lin hot pot delivers both quality and service each and every single time I’ve been there. There are plenty of parking right outside the plaza. Highly recommend!

The soup base is so good and it’s only $10.95 for three flavors. The pig tripe soup is so generous to have so much tripe in it. Hot soup is very authentic and spicy. The organs are fresh. I haven’t had so much fresh organs for years and I’m even touched. They offer so many yummy starters for free. Qiaolin would be an outstanding hotpot restaurant in China not to mention in US. Would love to be back again.

Amazing experience! Very friendly, helpful and polite stuff. Loved everything! Tasty!

The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and the service was very good too. Just wished they had more soup options

If you like hot pot this is the perfect spot. The place is very clean and we loved food. Everything was very fresh and great presentation. The fried pork appetizer was delicious. We celebrate our mom’s 75th birthday and the manager brought complimentary beef for us. Great guest service and definitely be back. Can’t beat the free parking lot right cross street from the restaurant.

Be aware: sign online in advance!Waiting for 1 hour after queueing on yelp. Otherwise it would be 2 hour at least. Freshness of food is good, while “hand cut” beef slices are seemingly made by machine, not by hand. A non-Asian friend visited together with us and he loved it. Given the price, it is ideal balance between affordability and taste. Btw, 炸酥肉 is my favorite.

Came here from out of state to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service was amazing! Our group especially loved talking to Ivy, who came and personally talked to each of our tables. The waiter and waitresses who served us were stellar, and incredibly accommodating to our group of 12. 10/10 would come back again!
