Posting specifically about the restaurant week menu: it’s BOMB. Highly suggest you go with at least one other person and you can both order the 2 different entrees (mussels & pork belly)- the pork belly is a little dry but once you mix it with everything on the plate it’s MUAH to die for. Great selection of beer and the Serrano ham for the appetizer melts in your mouth. I feel like a little kid with my review for the dessert but it was a sad portion to share between 2 people lol. I actually asked a waiter if another portion of dessert was coming out. All is served family style if you + others are getting the restaurant week menu. All and all the space is loud and fun and rambunctious - will return
Eating in Chicago means eating well, and Publican Quality Meats elevates that to eating right. Shout out to Head Butcher Rob, your butcher's breakfast was eye-opening, and thanks for recommending it Leo. If I knew that is what you all get to eat for breakfast, I would've applied a long time ago!They've crafted a unique offering, with everything from in-house pasta sauces to tiny cans of whisky.

This place never fails. Its a testament to ownership/management, but the staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond to assist you in a manner that is truly a rarity these days. They treat you like family. The products always speak for themselves. This establishment exemplifies all that is good about Chicago and its food culture. Cheers to the team.(Specifically 12/20/21 early afternoon but have been many times. The assistance and kindness of the team behind the meat counter is truly special)
Thanksgiving pick up 2 years in a row and the value is absolutely insane. Publican Quality at its highest.Also this year the person working the table was so kind about me being early for my pickup and absolutely made my day. Cannot be more grateful.
I love this place usually but seems to have gone downhill a bit. To go orders are also nowhere near as good as when you eat there for some reason. Turkey Sando is a rip off for 15 bucks. It used to be twice the size. Tempsta Market a few blocks away is way better bang for your buck and sandos have been better lately. Hope PQM can step it back up cause this place is fire when they are on their game.
Went for brunch. Ordered the sweet potato hash and montecristo, the hash was ok the montecristo was good!
I love this place. I work in commercial production and always recommend their charcuterie boards when needed to feed clients.I also buy them for special occasions, like an anniversary or birthday. I just ordered one for my birthday and they included delicious cookie and added a nice note in the box. I will be a life long patron.
It is very good sandwich, like very good. And breads are amazing. But Jesus Christ the wait time is insane when you order walk in. Staff said all orders are pre order and that's why some orders are faster. Absolutely, I understand but not when I watch a guy order after me walk out 40m before I get my order. At least an apology would have been appreciated, but I got tomato butts instead.
