I ordered a summer salmon bowl and a joke acai’d shake. This is the type of food people would think of as healthy but doesn’t look or taste good. I’ve had so much better healthy bowls that taste and look so much better than this. The shake was way too sweet, runny and kinda taste like cherry, not what I expected.
I love the smoothies
I am pleasantly surprised by this place. As a vegan, I usually can only find one or two (mediocre) things on most restaurants' menus. I am so happy that Protein Bar offers many vegan options. The "Egg Roll" and spicy korean bowls were very tasty. If you like spicy or Asian food, go for the spicy Korean option. The PB&J smoothie is also very tasty! The vegan smoothies include plant-based protein powder. I also have been happy with the staff. They always seem very friendly!
This is a must go for health gurus like me, that needs a lot of healthy nutrients for my day and future. Sublime salad bowls with quinoa, guacamole and with many other vegetables and protein. They have vegan options too.
I ordered the Superfood Vegan Salad, the Beyond Chili Vegan cup, and The Hippie shake. Yeah, it was a lot of calories but worth it. Of all the items, while all three were flavorful, the salad had the most amazing tastes and textures.

Very small portions.
It’s seemingly only a local (to Chicago) chain, but the brand obviously aspires to scale; but, before they do so, they might want to iron out the menu. Most of what they serve is tasty and somewhat healthy, but I’ve occasionally had a dry wrap / item. Overall, a decent healthy bite to eat on the go
A healthy option at a reasonable price.
As a vegan I can say I am happy that I found this place. Nice selection of healthy options. I love it and even the design of the interior. Great location in downtown but note: no parking.
