I was here once before for dinner and it was very good from what I remember. Brunch yesterday was fantastic. The drinks were delicious (ordered specialty cocktails from the main bar menu) and we had a few different brunch dishes. All hit the spot. Also our waiter, Vito, was the most attentive and pleasurable waiter I have had in a very long time. I know it was only his 2nd day, but with the fun experience he gave us it was like he has been there for years. Found a keeper in him!

The service was amazing! Everyone was so nice and friendly and the drinks came quickly, and the food came at a good time. We sat outside with our pup and the patio was super dog friendly which was awesome. Beans our dog got her own water dish and treats given to her by the staff. The food was great and we had a wonderful time. We plan to go back!

enjoyed my experience with my account managers service, This was my first time buying and investing BTC(BITCOIN), and while there were definitely some missteps on my end, your customer support was excellent and made it all fairly painless, and at the end of everything I got my complete profits. I just tried with a little amount of $1,500 and just within 7 working days I got a total return of $19,570 I am really grateful ma'am some of your competitors could learn a thing or two from you Mrs Flora Crypto FX Email or WhatsApp if you are really finding it difficult investing on forex trading, Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: +1 (209) 854-4399

My party and I went to Port and Park Bistro for the first time for Chicago Restaurant Week. Like most brunch places, it was packed when we got there - good to see businesses doing well - so I'm glad that we made a reservation. The host, a nice, older gentleman informed us that our table wasn't quite ready but the wait wouldn't be too long. When he saw that we had children (which I thought I had mentioned when making the reservation), he kindly tried to make sure that we had a table that would accommodate them comfortably. We were seated on the bar side. The atmosphere, decorations, and music were all nice and upbeat. Our server, who I think was the lead bartender (?) was friendly but also seemed a bit curt at times. It's also more impressive if when you don't write any of the orders down that you don't have to ask the patrons to repeat themselves more than once. Just a tip... For my entree, I wanted to try something I've never had so ordered the shakshuka. I had a feeling it wouldn't be a large portion (based on the description and because it seems like Restaurant Week portions are small) and I was correct. However, it was very tasty and I'm glad that I ordered it. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals: chicken and waffles, Chicago skillet, eggs benedict, and the fritata as well. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. I've been wanting to try Port for a while now and glad I had the opportunity to do so. I would certainly make another visit there.

Worst brunch experience in Chicago. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly too-good-to-be-true Chicago restaurant week deal for bottomless brunch here, trust your instincts. First of all, this place required a deposit in order to make a reservation, which in return you would expect to guarantee you a table at that time. I had to call the owner a week later to get the deposit back. We were seated pretty quickly but after we ordered, it was over an hour until the waitress came back with any other information about our food. This is completely unacceptable. When we finally flagged over the waitress she didn’t say sorry, instead she gave an excuse, saying that there was “another large party in the back” — we were a party of 9 and should have received the same attention as whatever large party was there. It’s one thing to apologize in advance and offer a free appetizer, but they weren’t capable even of that. It took over an hour for chips and guac to come out…When the food finally came out, two hours later, half of it was average and the other half was nasty cafeteria food. It all felt like it had been waiting under a heat lamp for way too long. I ended up sending back the shakshuka — it was practically inedible and the dish was plated like someones leftovers. We were all clearly exhausted and wanting to leave and the waitress tried to offer us a free round of shots (at 4pm on a Sunday?) which we all refused, rather than offering to comp something actually useful like the $18 chips and guac or any of the other over-priced items on the receipt. The entire experience was over 2 hours during which we only received service the last 30 minutes. To top it all off, we were automatically charged 20% gratuity, but I wanted to leave so desperately that I didn’t even argue. Could not recommend less. Below average food, horrible service, unaccommodating staff.

We went for restaurant week because their menu had the best bang for the buck. 4 course menu for $39 which sounded great. However, they are woefully under staffed. There was one server for around 29 people (around 11 tables) and the server was upbeat but he was running the whole time. The food runners kept bringing the wrong order to the wrong table and one of our entrees didn't come with the others. We had to ask for our desserts since they didn't come after our entrees were cleared. Overall, we were there for 3 hours. The food was good but I don't think I'd sit there for another 3 hours for that meal. The manager never came to the table to apologize for the wait or give any kind of explanation for the hold up. The only apology we got was from the server as we were leaving the restaurant.

Everything was overcooked: Rubbery calamari, dry salmon, inedible and unrecognizable couscous, mushy vegetables. Friendly service, casual surroundings.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a new brunch place, and we loved it. Food was really good, and in a combination with a friendly and fast service, we had a really good experience.
