This place is so consistent! The spicy chicken is truly spicy, unlike other franchises in Chicago. And the chicken is always hot like it just came fresh out the grease.
They had more staff and could fill your order in minutes . The drive thru has nothing available and can't give you a time frame . After you have waited 20 minutes to get to the Mic . Now I just go inside and stand and wait 15 minutes . This was a great place a year ago .
Used to love this place now the workers are slow don't understand when placing an order, they move slow and they always seem to get the order wrong w the receipts right in front of them. This Popeyes used to be first choice out of any popeyes anywhere. Now even the chicken is extra dry or burnt. Im so disappointed w the way it is run now.
We waited in the drive through for 30 minutes & when we got to the speaker they told us they were closing the drive through and were only doing the lobby. First of all, if that was the case they should have had someone come outside and tell the people in the drive through instead of allowing them to waste their time. I was in drive through for my CHILD! Unacceptable! I need corporates number!
If you're looking to get more than just chicken, this isNOT the Popeyes to go to. They are ALWAYS out of everything lately. No sandwiches, No pastries, No shrimp, sometimes not even Coke! Since they got certain RACE working there, seems like they want the place to go out of business soon! Sometimes by 9pm they are telling people the place it's close for the day because they "ran out" of Everything!
They are terrible! They have an attitude at the drive thru. They take forever getting food out through the drive thru and they never have anything! No lemonade, no chicken sandwiches, no fish sandwiches, no dark meat. Why are you in business? You need to get a better person for your inventory, if that's what you call it in restaurants. I am so done with this Popeyes. Never going back. You can keep your stank attitudes.
Was waiting for more than 40 mins in the drive thru, got there and to wait for them to tell me , there’s no ice, No shrimp , and to wait for fries. I told them I’ll wait for the fries than the two said they didn’t have fries either . Two lazy black females.
It's horrible this was the best Popeyes around the Southside the service and food is horrible. Don't know what happened but they should be ashamed of them

Service was so much more steady but the sweet tea. The gallon of sweet tea was like drinking sugar water with a bit of color. They were kind enough to add some breading into the tea which we found when serving ourselves. My husband was driving, he hates to make a fuss. Great food, just need to work on the tea and keep breading out. We never make it for photos. Tastes best when hot. Ordered family 16 piece meal with sides. * Don't forget sparkles, hot sauce and honey!*
