I always ordered to take out. I usually order molcilla and rice for my boyfriend, my kids and I eat rice and alcapuria and pasteles. She bags it quick and I'm out the door in less than 5 minutes. The food is always a fresh and delicious. We love the food here, but we never sat down and ate due to the parking being terrible.
Food experience was good. Hot , fresh food! Enjoyed the frituras very much!
Great delicious authentic Puerto Rican food, truly finger licking good.
My family used to go here all the time and thought I would like it. I ordered the blood sausage and it was OLD, like it had been sitting for hours. When we told them they said they'd being is fresh one but what they did was stick the old ones back in the fryer to heat them up. The chicken looked and tasted like box chicken, the king you buy at Aldi's. My niece's rice was too salty and there really wasn't any love in the food. You can't have a "Puertorican" restaurant run by non Puertoricans and expect the food to be good. Will never go there again.
Originally stopped at Sabor Latino and it ended up being closed, I googled the next closest Puerto Rican restaurant and came across Ponce Place.Let me tell you that I'm glad I did! I ordered a dozen frozen pasteles to go and some already made food to eat in the car on the way home. It was fire!I bought Relleno de papá and a pastelillo- I was even given pán on the side! I will definitely come here again and mind you the ready made food was running out and the people just kept coming in to eat in and order to take out!Fuego ??
I ordered a jibarito on Sunday. it was so good. its been a minute but ill be back this weekend.
Very nice people food was amazing aswell.
They are always nice and kind and their food is delicious as always. And service is so fast
Best Puertorican food in the Northside, everything there is Amazing! Must try! Have been going there for years and will continue.
One of my favorite places to eat. Clean and very polite staff. You made this Polacka who was born and raised in Humboldt park very happy.
