Columbus, OH polish American ( me ) was very pleased with this tiny little boutique eatery cafe. The beet soup was pleasantly zesty and delicious and the young lady who took our order was very kind and very inquisitive in how I feel about food. Empathy and a calm environment goes a long way: )
Pączki - Just like Babcia's! They only sell one flavor: rose hip filling (the most traditional).
I love going to this cafe with my friends.This place has great menu.Excellent Ponchki and cheesecake. The place is neat and clean and staff is friendly.I would recommend this place to all my friends.
The most fresh and authentic paczki in Chicago! Brought two dozen in to work this morning and going back for more this afternoon! Thank you to the wonderful friendly staff.
It is an authentic polish restaurant, we came here mainly for the Pączki but we found other delicious options, so we had lunch/dinner. Soup of the day, pierogi, kielbasa with delicious sour kraut and a fruit punch that brought me some nostalgic memories of my grandma, I was really pleased by the combination of flavors and warm food, also the lady who served us was as sweet as the Pączki they serve. Will definitely return.
This is probably one of the best Polish restaurants around. I highly recommend the breaded chicken. It cuts with your fork. This shows the chicken is very tender.There are a multitude of dessert entries that are all homemade. They come in a plastic container that you can buy.Enjoy!

O V E R R A T E D.Our second dinner experience with this place, first was take out. This time around...For starters we had to call the restaurant while standing at the counter to get someones attention...that failed to get anyone's attention, and we had to wait some more. Our dine in order was taken at the counter, we were then told to sit somewhere. We received no water or an option for any kind of a liquid to drink. "Barszcz" was more or less hot water, "krokiety" were 90% dough and 10% meat...and it was cold in the center. And to make our experience even better, both of our potato pancakes were also raw in the middle...?♂️
These Paczki are amazing. The donut is so fresh and flavorful. The staff that works here are very polish and offer great recommendations for other deserts to take home. Get a dozen cause they’ll go quick!
